  1. HHS...if you don't win it all...its ok, you're just mediocre....but ur still the favorite. LUV IT!! Sounds pretty safe to me. I'll take some of that action! Ha!
  2. There is no track to unquestionable dominance. It doesn't exist. There are only cycles. Feel fortuanate to be a part of this exceptional streak. Never say never, but a streak like this one may never happen again. U may now truly appreciate victory...Oh and HHS will most likely win the state championship....again
  3. BG always has a say. Let's hope there are more than two teams with a legitimate shot out of the west. That being said, glad to see JH's quarterback throw for 225 last Friday vs. Nelson Co. Very atypical considering he went 0-4 the week prior. Shot at the bluebirds??? Ha! :lol:That'll never happen, no matter how much they progress throughout the year. There's really no point to the thread....nobody's beatin Highlands.
  4. I think it will be considered an upset if the Cards win. That's a tall order to get a win at John Hardin and have people believe it was supposed to happen. JMHO
  5. Too close to call. This will be won in the trenches as always. Bethlehem may have a slight advantage up front.
  6. John Hardin might be considered.... Opened in 2001 - went 2-9 or 3-9...something like that. 2009- lost to Highlands in state championship.
  7. Use it or lose it. Athleticism is a rare gift. Play as long as you can, or you'll wish you had. Your education will last forever, your joints will not. Student athletes have shown that juggling highly competitive collegiate sports and academics is nothing unusual. There should be no argument over choosing between academics and sports...no matter where you go to college. As for small colleges, example Georgetown College, the undergrad degrees may not be as extensive as at larger universities, but can be applied to a more specific graduate degree of their choice at a larger university. Let's face it, most of the highly sought after degrees are 6-8 year programs anyway. :thumb:
  8. I'll take Jimmy's and Joe's over X's and O's. Good coaches win with talent, bad coaches lose with talent....but nobody wins without talent.
  9. Justin Frisk, Noah Gibson, and Steven Lickert(Coaching at Holmes). We Dawg fans know our opponents.
  10. It's not going to be a game anyway, who cares if its live?
  11. I too believe the O line play will tell the story. I definitely think the skill positions at JH match up well, but Highlands Oline consistently stay on blocks. If JH gets blown off the ball, I don't think JH can weather the storm. :thumb:
  12. I think you're missing the point...
  13. So if its a blowout, you're a Highlands fan....but if its close, you won't claim them??? :idunno:
  14. Congrats St.X on advancing to the State Championship. Go kick a field goal and beat Trinity 3-0.
  15. It was a fumble and if called correctly, the greenwood player would've been about the only player to recognize it. That being said he definitely would've returned the ball a good 30+ yards. The St.X quarterback would've been the closest man to making a tackle attempt. I doubt that St.X QB was Pat White type runner or else he'd be playing another skill position. In a 14-6 game, that would've changed the outcome dramatically IMO. St.X may have hung on to get the win, but woulda, coulda, shoulda is a great way to hide from what's real.
  16. I sure hope its a game as well. As for your team support, your post makes it sound like the support comes from winning...kinda like a bandwagon....right? Correct me if I'm off base. If you truly believe in "saying little when you win, and saying less when you lose", then why post anything at all...considering they have yet to play? :idunno: Good Luck to both teams. :thumb:
  17. You're not helping make your case here. JH is smaller than Highlands. We have a few Little Cam Dierig's too. :thumb:
  18. I figured you guys already nicknamed him Jesus, so I decided to go with Big Dale...glad you like it!
  19. Fellas, I don't mean to imply that any of you guys are stupid...but I realize these posts are sometimes misinterpreted. I assume you guys know that JH has film on Highlands. I'm pretty sure they've taken a look at it. I think JH knows exactly what they're getting into. Otherwise Big Dale would've already received the trophy in the mail. I don't think you're going to intmidate anybody with public blog sites or tradition...not at this point in the season. JH may very well get blown out, just as others who've come before the Bluebirds. :isurrender: Maybe not:D
  20. 28-6...as a JH fan I'll take it after all I've heard.
  21. In Theory... Yes, I just told you I saw them. Excuse my keyboard...it stutters sometimes.
  22. Were we not reflecting...I thought we were!
