Cardinals are 4-0 this season with a pretty solid defense to go with a strong ground game. However, they have had their difficulties against former coach Mark Brown — who coach NC to its only state championship in 1996 — having not beaten John since 2004.

 

John comes in at 3-0, with wins over Marion, Meade and North Hardin, and the Bulldogs are at their customary spot in the Top 5 of 5A.

 

NC is a lot better this year than in recent years, especially on defense. Is this the year they turn the tables on John? Does a win over John get NC some notice in the 6A polls?

 

Should be a good one over at JH. Wish I could make it.

On a dry field this is going to be a pretty good game. NC will definitely be a big test for JH. JH has played stronger opponents and there at home so I'll give them the edge.

There are not many people outside Nelson Co giving the Card much of a chance. I think they will be very surprised when its over. I believe NC will win this one and it should not be considered an upset if they do.

Nelson is ready to go tonight! JH is awesome with 2 backs averaging over 100 yard rushing per game. It will be a defensive struggle. Nelson fumbled 3 times insided their own 20 last week against Warren Central and only gave up a field goal. I predict Nelson 14 JH 7.

I think it will be considered an upset if the Cards win. That's a tall order to get a win at John Hardin and have people believe it was supposed to happen. JMHO

Thats really the reason I mentioned it. Just because its John Hardin people think they (JH) should win. They automaticaly think JH is the better team.

Most of the state actually thinks that. NC hasn't really been tested yet...till tonight that is.
