  1. I've seen both play last year. Ensworth wins by 14+. No knock on Highlands, but Ensworth would win the battle up front...not to mention Corn Elder. He's better than Frisk...and there hasn't been a Frisk at Highlands for some time. Don't know why they "dodged" the bluebirds, if thats what you insist they are doing. I would assume Ensworth will reload, albeit w/out Corn. There 2-3 backs were quite impressive as well. Would love to see this game happen, probably be a good one, but I doubt Ensworth is scared if that is being implied.
  2. Mexitucky, I agree Lindeman was a great LB. attended the wedding too. You know Nate, its no wonder he had to hangem up for being overly- concussed.

  4. No worries. JH can't match skill pos with BG. Nobody in 5A can. Haven't seen cooper in person, but hear they have a good defense. No mention offensively. I still think BG cruises.
  5. The only thing not scary about BG is their size, but don't let that fool you. Their OL/DL can move. Their skill positions are just frightening.
  6. JH got robbed on their 2pt. Conversion in the first half. Already seen the film. 15 points no doubt about it. Congrats to the purples
  7. Break out your flip flops and your spf...the sand is everywhere;)
  8. Prp really throws it well. I like there chances this week
  9. I believe i stand with many in predicting a BG blowout. Props to CC i guess...i still think WC is better than CC though;)
  10. John Hardin will be looking for a new HC next year....
  11. Home field thru is always an advantage. I'm just not sure that will be enough though. I hope your right!
  12. I would agree with regard to a pick'em this year, not in year's past. Although I do think if WC was more diversified offensivley,(not just Jet & Jet Pass) they would beat us. I don't think scheduling is a really consistent measure of a teams' potential. Playing Highlands & Trinity isn't going to help us beat BG IMO. I'm a big fan of personnel. This year, JH is not as athletic as they have been recently. But I do think we're better than WC. So we'll just have to agree to disagree. But I wish you guys luck against BG....sincerely. I would love to see a JH/WC matchup.
  13. It really doesn't matter. And i think everyone has BG locked for the 5A title. I do too. I was referring to the comment made about hoping WC and JH never meet in the playoffs. I took that to mean WC would beat John Hardin. Context seemed to indicate a matter of fact. This sounds a bit overly confident considering you haven't seen JH play this year.
  14. I will have to disagree. Sorry Slobber. Their backfield is average at best. The O-line is even more mediocre. They have one good WR. Special teams are very suspect. Defense is solid when they show up, but as others have pointed out, we don't play anybody. When we get to the semis, we get throttled....kinda. BG leads the series against JH 3-2, although they would have us believe its been a one-sided affair. In '05 St.X beat us like a tied goat... by a whopping point. Dragonfire is right, we will get killed against Bowling Green and the result would be the same if we were to ever play WC. Everybody knows our schedule doesn't prepare us for the playoffs, yet somehow, Coach Brown's teams always seem to be in the mix in late November. :idunno:
  15. 12-0 John Hardin somewhere in the 1st Quarter. Wouldn't you know, the scoreboard is out as well:laugh:
  16. I wasn't able to make the game, but I've been getting texts about the stadium lights not working only at one end of the field. Word has it that they're going to try and play a halfcourt game. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the logistics. Would this really be possible to do?
