I agree. The other side of that is JH has been getting beat down in the playoffs each year. Twice by Bowling Green and once by Highlands in the finals.

Heard there were some issues with the lights and that they were only using one half of the field? Don't think I've ever heard of this before.

I would say they only had one beat down guru and that was last year to Bg. They beat Bg in 2009 to face a top 5 nationally ranked highlands team in the finals. Highlands destroyed everyone that year. Christian co beat them by one td in 2010 to advance to the finals. When they lose they are losing to historically strong programs.

They lost by 25 to Christian County in 2010. You may have been thinking of 2008 when Christian County won by only 6.

Honestly I don't know, but this is what I can tell you about this years team. In my opinion this is the most overall talent Coach Brown has had come through John as a group. We have the players to get it done.

How does this JH team compare with last year's team? I saw last year's team a couple of times.

I, like you I'm guessing, have not seen John Hardin this year, but I doubt this year would be any different as far as advancing. John Hardin's closest district game was their 26 point victory over J-Town. I certainly don't see any of their district foes beating them in the playoffs, nor do I see Bullitt Central posing a challenge in the second round. Shelby County in the third round will be their first possible challenge IMO. They'd have to go there if that was the game. But all things considered, I doubt anyone stops them before the state semis when they'd see Bowling Green.

I will have to disagree. Sorry Slobber. Their backfield is average at best. The O-line is even more mediocre. They have one good WR. Special teams are very suspect. Defense is solid when they show up, but as others have pointed out, we don't play anybody. When we get to the semis, we get throttled....kinda. BG leads the series against JH 3-2, although they would have us believe its been a one-sided affair. In '05 St.X beat us like a tied goat... by a whopping point. Dragonfire is right, we will get killed against Bowling Green and the result would be the same if we were to ever play WC. Everybody knows our schedule doesn't prepare us for the playoffs, yet somehow, Coach Brown's teams always seem to be in the mix in late November. :idunno:
