It's the dead period. June 25 - July 9. AAU ball starts this Monday at the Adidas It Takes Five tournament. Who are the Holmes boys playing AAU ball with at the NCAA Certified tournaments? I don't think they can't play with the KY Players unless someone else coaches them.

They need to develop a point guard between now and December. They have players that are capable.

That's good for the youngsters to get this type of competition and floor time. It will pay off in future years.:thumb:

That's a lot of talent. The majority of these kids will play at the next level. Looks like some good teams are involved in this event; should be a weekend of watching some exciting games. Good luck to all the teams!

Triple teamed! Come on! If he was triple teamed that left two other players completely wide open. If he was a good point guard, he would have passed the ball and Villa would have won the game. Two guys can't guard four; I don't care how good they are. If he was shooting the ball while he was triple teamed he is not much of a team player.

I agree, no doubt Corbett should be the point guard this year, I actually felt that Trinity played better as a team when Corbett was on the floor. He was more of a true point guard, he ran the offense and looked to pass before shooting. I not knocking Harrison, he is an unbelieveable talent but size and strength hurt him this past year.

I agree with Holmes and Shelby Valley but not Mason Co. Clark Co. will be the team to beat in the 10th next year. Mason Co. loses Middleton and Downing this year.

Scott Co's path to the regional finals just got a little easier with Lafayette beating Franklin Co.

Glad to see McCreary win the district! They have been favored the past two years and haven't been able to get past the first round. Congratulations to the Raiders and Coach Jones. Good luck at Regionals. Hope to see you guys at Rupp.

Looks like an easy path to Rupp for Elliott Co. no matter who they play.

I agree, GRC is going to be extremely tough the next two years if everyone stays healthy...and like you said, they could POSSIBLY get better.
