Has he decided yet?

C.J. Penny from Anderson County has became the fifth Kentucky player to sign with Southeastern Illinois for next season. Penny joins:

- Aaron Wilson, Fulton City

- Corey Jackson, Shawnee

- Jordan Hickman, Bardstown

- Charles Ashford, Bryan Station

Southeastern Illinois College is a Division I power in NJCAA men's basketball. The Falcons compete in the Great River's Athletic Conference and in the NJCAA Region 24. They have won the conference and region numerous times. In 2003, 2004, and 2008, the Falcons competed in the NJCAA National Basketball Tournament. In 2008, they advanced to the quarter finals. In 2003, they finished in 7th place. In 2004, they finished in 4th place.

He signed with Southeastern Illinois College, a juco program. Aaron Wilson, one of Penny's Kentucky all-star teammates, will play there. Isaac McClure, who played in two state tournaments for Paducah Tilghman, will be a sophomore at SIC.

Austin Hill, who led Holmes to the final four in 2007, just finished two years there and has signed at Illinois State.

When did he sign?

Head Coach Todd Franklin, a Central City native, knows how to mine Kentucky for talent, as well as send the kids off to D-I spots.

Good luck to CJ!

CJ is a great kid, I wish the best for him, SIC got a good one! Good luck CJ!:thumb:

Did anybody pick up Monie Hudson?

Who is Monie Hudson?

Hudson was a guard at Warren Central that just finished two seasons at Southeastern Illinois. He signed with Evansville this spring.

That's right. I knew he had signed somewhere, but it slipped my mind who. Thanks!

SIC has a solid program and has been getting several KY boys here lately.
