  1. I don't doubt that Pittman is a great player, but I don't think his performance against Scott County and Phares should be the yardstick by which he is measured. It was just the third game of the season and Scott County was playing with new players not familiar with their system. Phares picked up three fouls in the first 5 minutes helping out on defense and his fourth foul came early in the 3rd quarter. He only ended up playing 17:20 that game and was in foul trouble the whole way. Pittman's stat line was 6/15 FG, 0/5 beyond the arc, 3/8 from the free throw line, 10 rebounds, 1 turn over, and 2 blocked shots. In my opinion, that does not constitute an all state performance and it is not too tough to have a great game against a guy sitting on the bench.
