I see the Flash winning this one going away. It may be a ballgame early on but I just don't see FC stopping the air assault for 4 quarters. Also, most people don't realize how Lone Oak's run defense has improved. Unless FC can pass the ball & control the game by keeping LO offense off the field, it will be a long night. It should be a playoff type atomsphere at Flash Field with the winner getting some momentum heading into the playoffs.

Lone Oak should beat FC by 3 to 4 tds. I'll say Lone Oak 48 to FC 24

Lone Oak in Class 4A

Good win Fulton City over Mayfield. Next week at Flash field a showdown of two ranked & unbeaten teams. It should be a good & exciting game. I am looking forward to it.

Looking way ahead, if Lone Oak & Warren East win their 1st 3 playoff games, they would meet in round 4 with the winner advancing to Louisville for the 4A Championship game that would be an interesting matchup.

I can't believe 3 people picked Muhlenberg North to end their 30 plus game losing streak aginst an undefeated Lone Oak squad at home. All I've got to say is I want some of that stuff that they've been smokin. Lone Oak by at least 50 pts!

History says Mayfield will win however I would love to see Fulton City pull the upset which would setup a matchup of unbeaten teams in Week #9 providing Lone Oak wins against Muhlenberg No on Friday. I'll say Mayfield by 10

No way that Reidland beats Lone Oak @ Lone Oak that would be a bigger upset than Appalachian St over Michigan or Stanford over USC. Lone Oak will be up by 50 or more at halftime.

Mayfield 28 Calloway 13 A good test for both teams but I'll give the advantage to Mayfield. The important game for Calloway is the following week against Hopkins Co Central for the #2 seed in the 1st round playoff. Calloway host this game but the winner will host the next & the winner will most likely play at Lone Oak for the District Championship.

I hope they finish the season 10-0 & win their 1st 2 playoff game & Lone Oak does likewise. It would set up a battle of two undefeated teams (12-0) for a 3rd round playoff game.

Big win for the Purple Flash. It looks like the road to Louisville comes thru Lone Oak as the Flash secured home field advantage.
