  1. 7) Lone Oak 5) Glasgow 3) Madisonville 2) Marshall Co !) Daviess Co TB Marshall Co
  2. Lone Oak 3-0 outscoring the opposition by 50 plus pts each game should at least be in the 9 or 10 spot at this point.
  3. Just because you are winless don't mean you are a bad team, i.e. Boyle County ranked #5 0-3 now 0-4. Both of Obion Central losses were to ranked Tn teams, a school from Jackson & Ripley. Also, they hammered us the past two years in scrimmage games. I remember last year Paducah Tilghman started the season 0-5 & went on a roll. I expect a really good district matchup next Friday @ Calloway Co.
  4. 3 wins by 50 plus pts each, come on BGP show the Purple Flash some love!!!
  5. I'm somewhat surprised by the slim margin of victory by Marshall County. Lone Oak should finally get tested next Friday night @ Calloway County.
  6. 5) Bell County 3) St Xavier 3) Cincinnati St Xavier 1) Graves Co 1) Glasgow 1) Warren Central 1) Paducah Tilghman 1) Mercer Co 1) LCA 1) Lincoln Co TB) 46 points
  7. Whats your guys take on Robinson should he have made the list?
  8. Paducah Tilghman in a close one 23 to 21. It also amazes how Ft. Campbell's Qb made that list & Corey Robinson (Lone Oak) who has already thrown 15 tds in just 2 games didn't.
  9. In my opinion, The two toughest games on Lone Oak schedule is Hopkins Central (away) & Fulton City (home). I think Lone Oak has a legitimated shot at running the table during the regular season. If that occurs, Lone Oak should deserve to be ranked about 3rd or 4th in the rankings heading into post season. I understand the significance of playing a difficult schedule but how can a team be ranked in the top 10 with a 0-3 record?
  10. I noticed the Purple Flash was ranked 7th in the AP poll this morning. I was just wondering about the BGP poll.
  11. Daviess County ?? I know when Lone Oak scrimmaged Hopkinsville twice in the pre-season, I was not that impressed with Hopkinsville. However, they are well coached & won't be down very long because of history & tradition.
  12. 1) Bowling Green 2) Owensboro Sr 3) Warren East 4) Owensboro Apollo 5) Lone Oak 6) Graves Co 7) Christian Co 8) Warren Central 9) Daviess County 10) Marshall Co
  13. Lone Oak @ Calloway County Bowling Green @ Warren Central Marshall Co @ Owensboro Apollo Christian Co @ Hopkinsville
  14. 7) Webster County 5) Owensboro Apollo 3) Ballard 2) Christian County 1) Paducah Tilghman TB) Owensboro Apollo
  15. What a couple of bone-head decisions by the Hopkins Central coaching staff late in the game. First, go for the 2 pt conversion 26 to 24 is no different than 25 to 24 but 27 to 24 would have gotten your team to OT after Trigg kicked the field goal. Second, don't kick the ball deep to a Trigg Co speedster & have him return the ball to your 40 yd line & could have possibly went all the way to paydirt instead squibb the kick to prevent the return.
  16. Westsider, I was close: Tilghman 49 Webster 21
  17. Marshall County 35 Graves County 33
  18. Keep in mind that Lone Oak is 4A & with the exception of Warren East, all the other teams are 5A or 6A. Lone Oak also has the least number of male students out of all the 4A schools (Hopkins Central the most) & most of the other teams in the poll have a football history & tradition unlike Lone Oak. I think Lone Oak could score on most of those teams but the trouble would be on the defensive side.
  19. Heath 56 Reidland 12 Wright 350 yards rushing & 5 tds
