North Bullit @ Lone Oak (4A)
Should be an interesting game & I am looking forward to it. Just wondering what kind of following No Bullit has & how many fans will make the trip to Paducah ?

BluegrassPreps.com/Kentucky News Network Player of the week!
A typical day at the office for Mr. Robinson. Corey was 31-42-0 with 7 Td's passing & 1 rushing Td & also had an Int on defense. Corey broke the national mark of 77 Tds (he currently has 81). He also broke Zach Barnard (Owensboro Catholic 2004) single season passing record of 4,660. Corey numbers for the year are 295-377-4 78.2 Pct 4,778 Yds 81 Tds. Corey has led Lone Oak to 12-0 season. You can check out Corey's numbers on Lone Oak's website at eteamz.active.com/lofootball & sign the guestbook.

The team really believes in themselves & its going to take a good team to beat them at flash field. I like our chances alot.

If Corey Robinson leads Lone Oak to the state championship game (4A) then he should receive the award.

Lone Oak 54 Muhlenberg North 0 (4A)
It was a fumble, so at that point passing & receiving yards stop. Travis Hickman is credited with a 21 yard fumble recovery. If the ball was a lateral than Corey would be credited with a passing td & Travis would be credited with 21 yds receiving & no catch. There was not contiuation on the play. Corey should now have 73 Tds & will need 5 to break the national record against Calloway Co.

Second Round: Calloway County @ Lone Oak
Should be a lot of hype this week surrounding this much anticipated District 1 Class 4A matchup for the championship. Lone Oak rallied from 21 down to sqeak out a 34 to 28 OT at Calloway Co earlier this season. My gut feeling is that want happen again, the Flash have too many offensive weapons for the Lakers to stop & have the homefield advantage. I'll say Lone Oak 48 to Calloway Co 20.

Lone Oak 54 Muhlenberg North 0 (4A)
I thought Corey threw for 6 td's, I think on one the ball was fumbled and picked up by another player and ran in for a td. Does that still count as a passing td? Corey probably set his career individual passing yards game tonight; at least 500 yards. He also ran a td in as well.

Heath 20 Caldwell County 7 (2A)
Not really surprised, as I predicted a Heath victory on a previous thread. Chad Wright is an exceptional runner & he & his brother has always given the Tigers fits. I thought Caldwell would possibly be looking ahead to Trigg Co.

What's the price for Friday nites playoff games & is season ticket holders covered?
Here's Lone Oak prices: Reserved seats $10.00 (season ticket holders get 1st chance at these) Adult $8.00 Student $5.00 I read for Caldwell County at was $5.00 all tickets (season tickets are not accepted for playoff games)

Christian County @ Hopkinsville
Christian Co gets revenge 25 to 13.
-
Heath @ Caldwell County
I like the Pirates chances if they can run the ball with Wright & keep Barnes & Co off the field. Caldwell players may be looking ahead, anticipating playing the Trigg Co Wildcats. I'll say upset special Heath 27 Caldwell Co 24.

Hopkins County Central @ Calloway County
This should definetly be one of the more interesting 1st round playoff games. I wish I could attend the game & watch it. Hopkins Co Central defense hits harder but Calloway has a much better offense with Brockman at command. I think the Lakers may be looking a little ahead, wanting a rematch with Lone Oak & I think the Storm has a chance to go to Murray & get a W. I'll say the Storm in a upset 23 to 21.

Final Four in Class 4A
I don't think history will have an impact on this years Lone Oak Football Team. They seem poised & ready to make some noise in the post season. Its going to take a really good team to beat them at home. Calloway had better be worrying about Hopkins Central first then Lone Oak. I wouldn't be surprised if Hopkins County won this Friday at Calloway County. If a rematch occurs which I hope it does, I know Calloway County will be licking their chops but I think after the game they will be licking their wounds, I'll say Lone Oak by at least 3 Tds.

Lone Oak quarterback breaks state record!
National High School record is 77 held by Thomas Thrash of Little Rock Pulaski Academy, AR 2001. Corey now stands 3rd at 67. Tim Couch 75.1 Pct is the best all time nationally. Corey is 26 Tds behind Tim's career mark of 133. If Lone Oak goes deep into the playoff picture that mark is within reach.
