Lone Oak quarterback Corey Robinson threw for seven touchdowns tonight against Calloway County, giving him a total for 81 this season. He breaks the national record which was previously held by Thomas Thrash (77 touchdown passes in a single season) who played for Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas. Wow 560...that is crazy. Sounds like they must throw it over 90% of the time. Good luck to Corey Robinson and Lone Oak the next round in the playoffs.

Where abouts is Lone Oak in Kentucky.

Paducah, Kentucky, far western part of state. Was at game and this kid can play! Congrats to him, and his teamates.

I think I heard the broadcasters say that he is going to UK to play baseball...but not real sure on that though.

I believe it is now 81TD's to 4INTS:eek::eek::eek:

 

I really believe he is a little small to really play QB in D1, but he could prove me wrong. I see him as a receiver...He could really make an impact at a school like Murray State.

He also plays defense for the Purple Flash, congrats to Cory!

It is a shame he is not playing in the golden triangle. Any player who is playing this well would deserve being Mr. Football. The fact of the mater is that he probable won't even be considered. Thats sad.
