Congratulations to Cory Robinson and Lone Oak. On the subject of the Mr. Football Award, Micah Johnson (2005) from Fort Campbell and Curtis Pulley (2004) from Hopkinsville both won the award out of Western Kentucky so I don’t see why Robinson, with the year that he has had, shouldn’t be one of the top candidates this year.

Robinson is definately deservant of the recognition he's getting but Lone Oak is far from a 1 man show. They have some very solid receivers who run great routes and find the seams in the defense, there O-line does a great job giving Cory protection and there run defense swams to the ball. Look for the Purple Flash to continue there roll to Louisville.

Great numbers for Robinson and a great season for Lone Oak. He sounds deserving of Mr. Football. With those kind of numbers and 12 wins it would be a shame if he didn't win. I hope they make it to Louisville so that he can showcase his talent on the big stage. He is bigger than a lot of quarterbacks who have had sucess at the D1 level. A Bell County Lone Oak championship would be a great matchup and a contradiction in styles. TheLHL and CJ need to visit Mr. Robinson's neighberhood.
