I would say about a legit 6'0 180 lbs...He is a VERY smart player with his decisions...it is sad he doesn't play closer to the big cities. The offense is fast and furious, but I don't care if you are playing 3rd graders...81 TD's in 12 games is SWEET! I believe he also has several rushing also...

I'd say his Mr. Football candidacy is picking up steam. If Lone Oak could just get to Louisville, then he has to win the award.

the Jackson Purchase Region (area west of KY Lake to the Mississippi River) has had atleast 2 Mr. Footballs so it's not unheard of to get it down here

I like Lone Oak's chances at home next week against North Bullitt after beating #1 seed Marion Co.

Pookie Jones won it from Calloway County in 1989 and they didn't even make the playoffs that season.

 

Paducah Tilghman has had two winners: Kurt Barber in 1987 and Billy Jack Haskins in 1992. Both years Tilghman lost in the state finals.

 

Jones and Haskins went to UK; Barber went to Southern Cal. If the Lone Oak kid was getting more offers from Division I, he'd be a shoe-in for the award.

They're starting to take notice, but there hasn't been much talk yet. Fair or not, his size is a disadvantage in the recruiting game.

I think he sealed up Mr. KY tonight, and that is just, IMO....I would love to seem him get to 100, and put the record out of feasible reach.

From what I have been starting to gather he is quite undersized to play QB at the major D-1 level.

If they could get to the state finals, that's 19 more touchdowns, or 6.33 per game. What's crazy is that it doesn't seem that far-fetched!

Truthfully...can this team win the 4A state championship? North Bullitt and then Warren East/Fairdale would both have to make the trip to Paducah.

^ I would imagine it would have to be on the D-1AA level at best...I hope not, but size matters more than it should...
