Fairdale 53 Bullitt East 6
Good win, next game vs South looks to be a dandy after seeing the Southern-South score! If the Bulldogs can get by South a rematch with Fern Creek should be a VERY good game, as it was last time! Too early to say, but could Fairdale make a semi-state run???

Waggener @ Boyle County
Boyle names their score. Chuck is classy so he won't try to embarrass anyone. Best of luck to both!

Qualifying for Playoffs
Not exactly true either. Counties with multiple schools and even one horse town county schools are doing the same things. It's too easy now with parents shopping their kids and parents wanting their kids in competitive programs. It's happening all over. Not fair to say everywhere, but far more than people know or are willing to let on. Just part of sports today.

Qualifying for Playoffs
Can be said about every school in Louisville...there are no feeders-other than the Traditional schools (resides is what are used for magnet programs), if you aren't out talking to kids, then you are WAY behind the 8 ball.

Qualifying for Playoffs
Reread it...you can't SEE oxygen (who said measure??). Come by the house and show me!! LOL. My analogy is fine, thanks though.

Qualifying for Playoffs
C'mon Scuba...just because you can't see oxygen in the atmosphere doesn't mean it's not there. You are playing a card that doesn't need to be played. I can't count how many times I have seen coaches from ALL Louisville schools at little league games that their kids aren't playing in. Call it what you want, but don't make out like it's not happening brother. It is what it is and an accepted part of the sports culture in the city and surrounding counties. Let's just move on.

Manual's Coach Lucas to step down after season
This said coach has a brother teaching there correct?

Manual's Coach Lucas to step down after season
I would also argue that Wolfe can more easily get "players" in at Male than anyone can at Manual. I bet that is a major issue in taking the next step. I would say villecoach can give us more insight into some of the hurdles.

Why Should High School Coaches Be Fired?
There would be several superintendents looking for jobs if that were the case! I can think of several right now that would sweat just thinking about it!
-
Why Should High School Coaches Be Fired?
Perhaps it should be based on the percentage of pay overall. So if you get 10% of your salary from football contract, then 10% of your coaching evaluation should be based on W's...would that be a logical way to use W/L records?

Qualifying for Playoffs
The 4 class system also had 0-10 teams make the playoffs due to being in a 4 team district (cross district had 8 teams). Wasn't a perfect world then either. Just food for thought.
-
Qualifying for Playoffs
Yes, but they originally passed a public/private split. State legislators stopped it and sent it back to the KHSAA to solve the issue. So 6 classes was the end result.

WKU (and its stadium) and the C-USA championship game - Plan Revealed
Yeah, cause they all go to bed at 8pm on a school night. LOL. They will be fine.

Transfer Question
Not to mention that the KHSAA generally stands behind any decision that JCPS makes as it pertains to JCPS transfers. That's why you can see a kid at Western Monday and playing for PRP on Friday (just an example people, don't take it literally!). It takes weeks for KHSAA to review and decide on most cases around the state. They have always allowed JCPS to rule themselves since it primarily only affects them.

High school football coach in Washington St put on administrative leave for praying.
Not true...voluntary weights in winter and spring, voluntary June practice, voluntary spring ball. KHSAA is very clear that many things we do in sports is voluntary.

Hot Seat
Agree...Wolfe is unique because his former AD took the Male AD job and that's his boy. Plus he has always coached in Lville and they tend to keep to their own, but I know what ya mean.
