Final

Big win.

Does Fairdale play Fern Creek next? If so, is game at Creek?

No Fairdale gets South Oldham. North Bullitt plays Fern Creek.

Good win, next game vs South looks to be a dandy after seeing the Southern-South score! If the Bulldogs can get by South a rematch with Fern Creek should be a VERY good game, as it was last time! Too early to say, but could Fairdale make a semi-state run???

Fairdale sounds tough but didn't expect it to be this bad. Pretty sad effort by BE.

Bullitt East was ready to play at all. Had 2 weeks to prepare and they were thoroughly outplayed and outcoached.

Two really solid 2nd round games! Good luck to all.

Is the writing on the wall at BE? Frakes mentioned in his game preview this was worst season in 20 years.

I have heard that Coach Vincent at BE will step down.

Looks like something has to give!

Mark Sander was at the Bullitt East game, talking to school administrators.

Sander is an AD in Bullitt East region, sure he knows BE principal and AD. I wouldnt read too much into that unless there was other info.

So is there additional info or just pure speculation?

I spoke to some people that know Mark really well, and he has been interested in BE for sometime. Two of his old coaches from DeSales have kids playing at BE now. One of them is one of his best friends that coached under Mark for 15 years. People close to the team are saying that he is their first choice. Surely they would not discuss it with a new coach while they still have one. Their coach has not resigned. Many people around the program are saying that he will soon.
