  1. As far as my observation goes: Homes looked very very good at times and not so good at times. Way to many missed ft's and layups. This is not meant to be a knock on BW, but Holmes cannot miss that many gimme's against better Teams such as Boone Co and a few others in the regionals. Riley played very well as did the Johnson brothers. That was the first time I got to see BW play and all I can say is they had no legs by the middle of the 3rd gt. Not very deep I suppose. 23, 21, and 5 I believe were pretty good, but they were spent pretty early. That's it for me, I'll let ER take it from here. And yes, the D was very good. But the O needs to pick it up. Not sure how bad the hand is still bothering Pittman, but he's not the same player I watched earlier in the year.
  2. From what I've heard, Covington Holy Cross may have a new Coach next year.
  3. Kinda like Maryland beating NC on their home court. Everyone knows NC is still better and would/will win on a neutral court. Hope Boone survives until the rematch.
  4. Survive and advance.:ohbrother: Sounds like it was a good ole good one.:thumb:
  5. Henley wanted to come out and press right out of the gate, so he started Housely as it gives him another guard that can pressure the ball. If in fact that's the reason Pittman didn't start, I 100% disagree with that move.
  6. Truely an awesome story and I wish EC the best. Let's do remember though, it's every kids dream who plays basketball in our great State to play in and win a KY. State tournament.
  7. Maybe not, but SC does seem to be playing the best ball of anyone in the State right now. To shoot the ball that well is very impressive, I don't care who their playing.
  8. Glad to be back. This is MY favorite time of the year, would of been hard to miss out on all the chatter. I have to work tomorrow, hopefully you are heading to HC in the next hour or so, so you can get a seat and keep me posted.
  9. Very good points ER. The Coaches see and know alot more about the players then the fans do. I just hope Boone and Holmes get another shot to square off.
  10. Both are deseving, but remember the Coaches vote on this. RJ handles himself very well on the floor, could of played a part.:idunno:
  11. Congrats to all of these young men.:thumb:
  12. I don't recall anyone saying one Team is heads above the rest. As for the question, I believe Scott Co. is currently playing the best. As far as the, this Team beat that Team by this much and that Team lost to that Team theory, I don't buy it and never will, not in any sport. Kind of like saying Arizona loss to the Patriots by 40, but Pittsburgh beat the Pats by 23 at their place. :idunno:
  13. Not sure on the rule, but I would think if a kid is starting Varsity, he shouldn't even be dressing JV. JMO:idunno:
  14. ^ Why the question about enrollment?
  15. Not sure on that. Another question would be, when was the last time Cov. Cath was 5-15 ?
  16. Congrats to SV. Going to be fun following this thread.
