  1. He's played in 15 games for Louisville and in 48 AB's is hitting .208 with 0 Hr's and 0 RBI's. Gomes has played in 21 games and is hitting .243 with 3 HR's and 11 RBI's. To date, the most productive OF in Louisville has been Wes Bankston. In 21 games the 26 year old is batting .280 with 6 HR's and 18 RBI's.
  2. This doesn't look good at all, but I will let this one play out. May explain why he wanted to visit North Carolina Central.:idunno:
  3. Sad, very sad. Deserves it's own thread, but you can post it mustang.
  4. I agree about BP, if he had more discipline and not hit into so many dp's, he would be an idea 2 hitter. As long as Rosales is playing, I wouldn't mind seeing something like this against righties. 1. Taveres 2. Rosales 3. Votto 4. Bruce 5. Phillips 6. Nix 7. Hernandez 8. Gonzo I like how Rosales handles the bat and seems to hit to all fields, and doesn't strike out much. I guess my next concern would be, could Bruce handle hitting 4th? Nix has hit .400 against righties so far this year and deserves more PT.
  5. Sounds like he could be a very good player, as long he stays focused.
  6. Not at all. I'm saying there have been plenty Teams win a World Series without a gold glove 2nd baseman. When BP's name is brought up about possible trades, some seem to think he's untouchable because of his gold glove.
  7. He didn't have great numbers, but they weren't horrible. 12.8 points a game and 6.7 rebounds were his career numbers. In my opinion, Hansbrough and Patterson can do as good, if not better.
  8. Would you guys consider Christian Laettner a bust?
  9. :thumb: Indeed. Also, best road record in baseball. Hopefully they will start playing better at home, but I believe they will. The Reds pitching has been outstanding thus far, and hopefully they can get some more run support. Honestly, I still can't see them being able to win the central unless they make a move for a right handed power bat. I hope they prove me wrong though.
  10. Yeah, it would be impossible to win a World Series without a gold glove 2nd baseman.
  11. Needs to be traded if possible. Sick and tired of his attitude.
  12. You said he did the right thing, what is there to acknowledge, he guessed wrong? I will agree that he guessed wrong, but to call it a base running mistake, or blunder, just isn't accurate.
  13. Wonder if CC played on any of Krumps Teams? I am 100% sure of his take on this matter.
  14. Not a mistake at all. He's not a burner by no means, but does run decent. Alot of coaches will tell their base runners, when there's a lefty on the hill and you have decided your going, then you go on the first move. Not even close to an issue.
  15. He sure has been lights out thus far.
  16. :thumb: I certainly don't know, haven't see him play.
  17. Yes, he will probably be a top 5 pick, but nothing is certain. As far as his list, only he possibly knows who the list consist of. If he went to UK, Duke, NC, UF, Kansas or maybe 10 other schools for that matter, they would have a chance to win and win alot.
  18. And what are you claims and backing up how?
  19. Yes, very aggravating. Something else that's aggravating is watching pitchers pitch around rookies to get to guys like Gonzo.:irked:
  20. Yea, I think Les answered it perfect in post #44.
  21. Loved that show with Mel Allen, and then right after was usually game of the week.
