Please Leave Statman Alone

He is doing a great job and it's not his fault that the pertinant info can't be put up on the scoreboard .:deadhorse: :thumb:

Did anyone say it was his fault?

I think consensus is that the company in charge of the arena is at fault, not statman. It's obvious he wants to do all in his power to make the tournament first class. It's also obvious that some above him don't have the same passion or desire to make it that way.

Agreed. I don't think anyone has questioned his work. Just the equipment being used.

If Statman is tuning in here, are you gonna be at the 10th's games tomorrow afternoon?

Maybe the best that we can hope for is that they will have some running that particular program for the finals next week .

No, no one said it. Actually people have come out saying he is doing a good job! :thumb: It's the people in charge of the arena that are not doing theirs!

But as we all know, one man cannot do everything. As you said above, some above him do not have the same desire and or passion that he does, and that's the sad part.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. I am exhausted right now after having been up since 6 a.m. (I only got two and a half hours sleep). I had three papers to finish by 11 a.m. today and then had to go work two NKU baseball games that went from 12-4:15 p.m.

Now I am over here in the NKU Athletics Suite getting ready to head on out to the arena floor to get ready for the games tonight.

Yes I will be at all of the 10th region ganes but I will not be running the scoreboard....Campbell County is providing someone but I may be working the games in another capacity....I'll know more about this tonight.

As far as the NKU teams are concerned, both won the GLVC quarterfinals this afternoon and will play in the semifinals. If the womoen win out its almost agiven that we'll host the Midwest Regional here at the BOKC. If this does happen that means my spring break will consist of just two days since I am working the high school games here until Tuesday night and then that regional for NKU will begin next Friday. Busy times but when you need the money you need the money.

Bless your heart. I too want to state that I really appreciate all you have done and trying to do to make this regional experience a success and enjoyable for all. You get a :thumb::thumb: up!!

Keep up the good work. :thumb:

Yes, keep up the good work. I would bet things would be a little easier on ya if one of the NKU Coaches was around. Of course, their playing, but I'm sure they won't be real thrilled with the lack of support you and some others have gotten.
