I know that it would have been as hilarious as all get up but if my debit card would have worked properly for me this morning, I was going to buy a pack of index cards and write numbers on them with a Sharpee....lol. It would have only been one of those things that we here on BGP would have gotten and laughed about.

For those in the 10th Region that were here today, I thank you for your attendance at our facility. It was awesome seeing so many people out for the games today. It was the first time I have gotten to see most of the teams play - Deming, GRC, St. Patrick, Montgomery County, and Harrison County. I loved how the Davids of the tournament never gave up on the Goliaths and fought them tooth and nail down to the very end of the game. I will always love the 13th Region when Rockcastle County was in that and playing in the regional tournaments but the 10th Region is growing on me....lol. I have a team that I'd like to see win it due to a close friend of mine having been a cheerleader there but to the teams who were eliminated today, hold you heads high because your effort today made this southern Kentucky high school sports fan add your region to my list.....to the teams who advance, play hard and agressive the entire game in the semifinal and final (the two who are lucky enough to play in it) and leave it all out there on the court - do put yourself in a position in the future of saying what if I could have done more....just go out there and do it.

Thank you all for your support. I'm glad the effort that I have put into all of this is being appreciated. I'm not in it for the glory but to have people thank you for doing something as the scoreboard clock, well that is enough for me (BUT I am getting paid for it though...LOL).

I thought you did a great job today,I was there for all 4.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. I am exhausted right now after having been up since 6 a.m. (I only got two and a half hours sleep). I had three papers to finish by 11 a.m. today and then had to go work two NKU baseball games that went from 12-4:15 p.m.

Now I am over here in the NKU Athletics Suite getting ready to head on out to the arena floor to get ready for the games tonight.

Yes I will be at all of the 10th region ganes but I will not be running the scoreboard....Campbell County is providing someone but I may be working the games in another capacity....I'll know more about this tonight.

As far as the NKU teams are concerned, both won the GLVC quarterfinals this afternoon and will play in the semifinals. If the womoen win out its almost agiven that we'll host the Midwest Regional here at the BOKC. If this does happen that means my spring break will consist of just two days since I am working the high school games here until Tuesday night and then that regional for NKU will begin next Friday. Busy times but when you need the money you need the money.

Brother your dedication to my Alma Mater (NKU) and to working these HS games doesnt go unnoticed. Keep up the great work and keep burning the candle at both ends as long as you can because that is what college life is all about. :thumb:

Sorry for not being able to come by and speak to everyone yesterday....I had a little problem with the official stat computer I was able to use. I took for granted that the scoring program was installed for basketball just as it was for baseball and tennis...well it wasn't so I had to do hand stats for the first game and when I eventually got the program installed on the computer, I had to update rosters for each team between games and since I don't have a portable printer, I had to go back to our student computer lab to print things out. I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off....lol....well maybe not running but you get the drift....lol.

I spoke with Mustang on the phone last night and let him know something that I am going to keep quiet until everyone gets to the arena. If everything goes okay then this will be the culmination of a few people's hard work.
