In the 10th there are a TON of good sophomores:

GRC - Robbie Stenzel, Vinny Zollo, Travis Purvis, Corey Rogers

Mason Co - Treg Setty, Gilbert, Neal Pawsat

Deming has the King twins that are sophomores too I believe.

Add Kellen Smith from Scott to that list of 10th Region players.

In the 11th there are very talented young freshman.

LC- Jaylen Beckham

SC- Tamerin Manning, Isiah Ivey

I'm not quite sure who the top sophomores are in the 11th.

I do know that GRC will be stacked in '11 and IMO will definitely compete for the state title. But getting by Mason Co will be tough.

The best sophomores in NKY that I've seen:

6'6 G/F Kevon Rice Holmes

6'0 PG Kellen Smith Scott

Tamron Manning of Scott Co is hands down the best freshman I've seen this year.

In the 8th region, freshmen, Sawyer Williams has provided Owen County with a huge spark off the bench.

Add Kellen Smith from Scott to that list of 10th Region players.

I agree. Smith is a very solid player. :thumb: I liked how he handled himself at the end of the Holmes game. Holmes came in ranked #1 in the state and on a roll. The Eagles were down 1, Smith is fouled in the act of shooting a medium range jump shot as time expired in the game. After a conflab and some time outs, he stands at the free throw line by himself with 0:00 on the clock and hits the first to tie. Another time out. He missed the second to send the game to overtime. Instead of hanging his head or sulking, he came out and played a great in the overtime.

Im gonna have to say GRC's sophmore class:lol::lol:

Holmes - Kevon Arnold and Pierre Mayfield headline a bunch of young talent coming through there. Christian McClendon is an 8th grader who should be really good coming up as well

8th Grader - Mason Monroe @ Pendleton County started varsity this year for the Wildcats

I agree with Harrison as a freshman and Skaggs from Russell is an 8th grader that has started for 2 seasons.

One of the best sophmores would be Timmy Knipp. He might have the most upside out of any player I have seen in the state this year. He can absolutely do it all.

I would add Jaylan Daniels to that list.
