cat_fan
Our very own Dale Ferguson is a song writer..... It was a very good song too, I had to ask someone who was singing and they said Dale and I said "no way;" didn't know he had it in him like that. I thought the article was really good and great exposure for the state of Kentucky. Go Lions!!!:ylsuper: Edited February 24, 2009 by cat_fan

Eta Rho
To all of you Elliott Co fans...after reading that story, I truly understand now, why you support the Lions and those young men the way you do. Great story and very informative for those who don't know much about EC! I really look forward to seeing these boys play at Rupp.
Fastbreak
It's guys like Dale Ferguson that remind me that God really does exist, and really is involved in our lives. He's a living example of a lump of coal being transformed into a diamond... maybe a little more coal than diamond... but still... :thumb:
d-dawg
Great story! Hey maybe Dale could sing the National Anthem tonight before the game! Must be another Tom T Hall or Keith Whitney. That was a great write up and very deserving.

oldrambler
This was overall a great article and very well done(I was dissapointed in the line "from a state known for illegal recruiting", imo that was uncalled for by Forde). Regardless of that one line and with being a fan of a very small school myself I loved seeing and reading the article. Elliot Co. has a special group of players that only come around once in a lifetime imo. On a side note and just bc it was mentioned in the article I will say that my wife and I a few years ago while driving through "Keith Whitley country", have persoanlly sat down and had a burger and coke at the "Tasty Freeze", and were quite pleased with the food, friendliness (if that's a word) and the price I might add :thumb:. For Elliot County to get this kind of national publicity is great! Congrats to all of their fans, parents, school, coaches and especially their players.
