When the movie comes out ...I hope that they call it "Wildcats" instead of "Hoosiers II".

Lets not get to ahead of ourselves; they got a long way to go to do the unthinkable. I will be along for the ride if they do and can't wait.

To all of you Elliott Co fans...after reading that story, I truly understand now, why you support the Lions and those young men the way you do. Great story and very informative for those who don't know much about EC! I really look forward to seeing these boys play at Rupp.

Thanks Eta Rho!

Now you know . . . the rest of the story!!!:ylsuper:

Wow!!! What a wonderful and well written story. Thank you Mr. Forde and thank you ESPN!!! These boys have instilled pride, nourished a sense of community and brought a great deal of pure pleasure to all of our citizens. Thank you to the players, coaches, and parents as well for all of your hard work and determination. You are all heroes in my book. :notworthy:

This was overall a great article and very well done(I was dissapointed in the line "from a state known for illegal recruiting", imo that was uncalled for by Forde). Regardless of that one line and with being a fan of a very small school myself I loved seeing and reading the article.

Elliot Co. has a special group of players that only come around once in a lifetime imo. On a side note and just bc it was mentioned in the article I will say that my wife and I a few years ago while driving through "Keith Whitley country", have persoanlly sat down and had a burger and coke at the "Tasty Freeze", and were quite pleased with the food, friendliness (if that's a word) and the price I might add :D:thumb:.

For Elliot County to get this kind of national publicity is great! Congrats to all of their fans, parents, school, coaches and especially their players.

Yes I agree. Its a great story. As is Shelby Valley and some others. Its always special when a team from the Mtns acheives success.

Thanks Eta Rho!

Great article about Elliott County! If my Camels don't make the state tourney, my son and I will be at Rupp rooting for the Lions.

It has been a great run for the Boys at Elliott Co. I hope they can win 8 more and have a big shin dig.

Truely an awesome story and I wish EC the best. Let's do remember though, it's every kids dream who plays basketball in our great State to play in and win a KY. State tournament.

I got a chance to meet Pat Forde at the Penny Mart that Thursday Night and he was all ears when we were talking. He was taking everything in and it was a joy to meet him.
