I found that a wife or husband of the coach or a family member of the coach is good. A random paid person would probaly be best.

I havent seen Letcher play this year but from some Whitesburg friends I'm saying June B, by 20...........83-63

McIntosh was off a little but the first one all year for him, still had 10+. Evans had 18 off the bench and getting more playing time because of hustle plays. T. Murrell got into foul trouble early but has hustled every game all year and looks to be earning more playing as the year goes. The 2nd team in of the younger players seem to really be able to press and that was the difference in the 4th. Coach Noble is starting to look at the younger boys looks like and the results are showing. Menifee really took it to the Owls and out hustled all game but seemed to tire late in the 3rd and all through the 4th.

Good win for Estill. Sounds like Owsley needs more consistant play at the guard spot. Coach Noble is doing a great job with his players that he was dealt. Kinda like Coach G at UK at the current time(yeah I know u can't recruit ur own players in high school). But give both time and patience I'm sure nothing but positive things will occur throughout this season and the many to come. See ya at the Palace this Friday, The Professor

If Owsley if 4th then that distric will be very well matched at the end of the season. I don't disagree with you at this itme, just saying that If Owsley is the 4th seed going into the tournament then by the time Coach Nobel has time with them the distric tournament will be fun to watch.

I'd take my chances with my team hitting 8 threes but I'll take my chances with a team living or surviving from the 3. Owsley in a close one but I havent got a chance to see Estill this year

Prolly the best for him to start over without a reputation and let him finish his high school career. Hopfully this is be a life changing experience for him. Hopefully he can move past the past and fullfill the potential he ahs on the basketball court and finish the career with a top notch University and end up with a career either in basketball or with a degree....Goodluck Mackey

I agree with this, this is one of them exceptions to where it cannot be helped but very few times does anyone see this because most coaches do a very good job of scheduling competition of the same caliber as the team he coaches, but then you have some ncoaches that just put teams that are 50 pt wins and try to break records.

I understand getting a 30 -35 pt. lead and doing whatever it takes to hold it but after 30 especially late in the game there are no need to risk getting a player hurt or making a team that is less fortunate in talent suffer any more than that. I say 30pts lead because there are a lot more cases of comebacks from down 25pt than above 25pts. Beatting a team that has a record of 21-8 by 20pts is different than beating a team with a 8-21 record by 40pts. Eventhough you say "yeah but they couldn't help it" and yes there are cases of that, not too many. Usally when a team keeps saying that "they can't help it" their schedule is weak and yes the wins rack up but no quality wins. (this is why college football has the BCS Bowl and LSU with 2 losses and the hardest schedule in the nation is in the BCS championship)(Not saying we need a BCS ranking system just using a good example of how to rank a team by more than just a record.)

I was told from someone that was at the game the other night that starters started each quarter and played until 3:30 to go in the 4th. June B. substituted in and out but starters played the majority of the time. Hands down June B. wins especially with Jenkins pg out. but will be a better game at Jenkins.
