If this game takes place during the sweet sixteen, what players will replace the ones that cant make it?

I hope Smith never looks at this crap people writes about him. Its a sight when a person/or coach wants to get on BGP and brag about a kid for doing someting well or something he thinks is impressive... and some idiot gets on here and says, "no he cant!" Some little imature people need to grow up and worry about their kids/players etc. and quit worrying about other people.

I cant wait to drive over and watch Smith play. All this chat about how good he is in baseball is almost the same stuff i heard about him in Basketball. I drove over from Hazard and watched him play basketball, and man i was extremely impressed. I hope some of you guys that like talking negative toward Robert can come and watch him play. I hope he is as impressive as sixtyfeetsix says he is; oh yea, i hope im there when you come, ill be the one there to pick your jaw up after it drops from watching Smith impress ya!

You mean to tell me that they sell alcoholic beverages at a High School state tourney. You gotta be kiddin me, you might as well tell our teenagers its OK to drink. That is ridiculous!!!!!!!!

Neeley couldnt run Owsley's offense. Besides, Neeley will not fit in with breathitt, Hollon is the studd guard on that team. He is a better ball handler than Neeley by far. Neeley might as well stick with Owsley, so he can jack 30 shots a game; I dont see Breathitt letting him do that.

I cant wait to watch this game take place. I am going to be cheering the East on, but in reality, West should come out on top. Id say it will be a high scoring game.

Does each student have 3 dads, fours moms, 6 uncles, and 7 aunts. Because thats the only way JBS will be bringing 2500 fans!!!

This was an alright game. Hazard lead the whole game by double digits, but Wolfe would never go away until about the middle of the fourth quarter. Good win for my Bulldogs. Hicks played a great game. Hicks should be the best player in the region next year. IMO

Tyler Rich is definently a good roll player. I'd say they pick by talent, and possible college prospects. I dont see Rich playing center or guard in college. Not quick enough to play guard or forward, has absolutely no handles, and cant shoot farther than 3 feet from the basket. He cant play center because he doesnt have the height. I think the two they chose from the 14th are the most athletic, and best all around ball players the 14th senior class has to offer. Im not knocking Rich a bit, i like to watch this kid bit and bang. This is just reality. HECK, he will probably be at the state tourney anyway... HUH!

Now that the season is over for some, what is your season ending top 10 players?

I want to congradulate Robert Smith on his career. He has been very exciting to watch, a marvelous player. I liked to see him pursue his career in college some where. This kid can shoot the ball really well, i beleive he would fit right in on a college team. They would run him off screens like crazy. He has really turned his game completely around; he went from just been a slasher to an all around great player. Congrats to Lee!!!

Why is this?

I feel that Stepp is way over-rated. He is a good player, but he shoots the ball every trip down the floor. I feel that Hicks of Hazard, Smith of Owsley, and definently Rich of Lee were way under-rated this season. This three are the biggest factors on their teams. You take Hicks off Hazard they would struggle big time. You take Smith off Owsley, they would still be stuck with just one win. You take Rich off Lee's ball club... well, no all 'A' title and definently not a 22-7 season.

Some would consider these two, too be the worst teams in the region. So who do you think will win this game? Both teams i feel are evenly matched, both very young; however, Senior leadership will be the outcome on this game. If Owsley's senior, Smith, steps up and controls his younger athletes, Owlsey will win this one, if not, it could get ugly. This young Breathitt team aint no walk through the park!!! :walk:

This game is at CLAY, Corbin better bring there A++ game to win. Clay is extremely hard to beat at home. If Desmond is a 100%, Clay will win by 15+, if not, they still win by 5+.

Hicks is a really good player, you take him off this team and they will struggle big time. Hicks is kind of like Lee's big man, Rich. Take Rich off Lee they would struggle. These two teams feed off these guys, that is how both win their ball games. They are the ignitors for their ball club.

Eli Warren isnt that great of a scorer, but who ever he is guarding, he sure does intimidate them. He is probably the best defensive player in the region, very quick hands, and extremely athletic.

Lee should win this game easily; im going with Lee by 15+. Lee is the better team and deserve to win.

Im going to go with KCC by 10+. PLaying real good ball right now!
