Mator23 Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I really dont know the 13th baseball that well and was just wondering if anyone had any ideas.
MountainTop5 Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Corbin, Middlesboro, South Laurel, Cumberland, Whitley Co., in no particular order this early.
13th Analyst Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I would say: !.Middlesboro 2.Corbin 3.South Laurel 4.Whitley County 5.Cumberland
4chs Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 1. Middlesboro 2. South Laurel 3. Corbin 4. North Laurel 5. Bell Co.
JeterFan04 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 i look for corbin to be tough again this year they have a lot of talent
4chs Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 i look for corbin to be tough again this year they have a lot of talent Corbin has two or three things they have to overcome to be a good team this year: 1. No experienced outfielders. 2. No Depth 3. Lack of speed, which makes it difficult to play the "small ball" that they have had a lot of success at.
LOVETHOSERHOUNDS Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Garmon told me that it would be just like starting over, a major rebuilding effort.
4chs Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Garmon told me that it would be just like starting over, a major rebuilding effort. I would say that is a fair assessment considering they lost seven starters from last year's team.
JeterFan04 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Yea i agree they lost a lot of good talent but they have a great coach and from what i heard and saw last year i think they will be alright, i like the way they play baseball.
SkinsLB22 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Who does Bell have that will help them be a contender in the region?
MountainTop5 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Bell Co has Steven Hunter, Spencer Greer, and Kyle Nelson back.
ukbellco14 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Every starter is back, lost Wilder who pitched, he is at Union College playing baseball.
4chs Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Every starter is back, lost Wilder who pitched, he is at Union College playing baseball. How good will their pitching staff be and who are the pitchers?
Thunderstruck Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I would say: !.Middlesboro 2.Corbin 3.South Laurel 4.Whitley County 5.Cumberland I find that very interesting that Middlesboro is number 1, since the varsity coach went to the middle school's coach and asked for some 8th graders. Of course that was to fill spots since only about 12 kids are playing right now. Skip Fredy...gone...Emmert...gone.....bunches of kids...gone.
Thunderstruck Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 1. Middlesboro 2. South Laurel 3. Corbin 4. North Laurel 5. Bell Co. Corbin will be good, but they have to rebuild. They may get to be a top 5 team but they won't be at the start of the season. Too many starters lost.
