There is not only pressure on the team... but in the halls, people are talking about the pressure on the student section. The shoe cheer is only done when an opponent loses a shoe, which happened this year against Ashland Paul Blazer, that young man was the recipient of the shoe. There are many things that have been incorporated in the past 2 years, so we'll just see how it goes.

The student section tickets sold out before lunch was over the day they came out. Supposedly we were only allotted about 300 so many people were left without tickets, and are moving to the upper deck, then move down at the end of the 1st quarter, as is allowed by the gate workers.

I heard he is playing, and will most likely play varsity, but CCH is deep at the catcher spot and the best he might hope for is the 3rd spot and maybe even 4th option if Peter Sutton plays, but I don't really remember much about Peter, Maile may be better.

Was Lex Christian not able to compete last year? As a small school, they are obviously at a disadvantage correct? Oh wait... I forgot they were private. Just stirring the pot.

The student sections are behind the baskets, and today at school they were $7.00. But for others they would obviously be more. I went down to Rupp two years ago and bought a lower arena ticket in the student section and it was about 10 I believe, but it was student section seating...

Girls are not allowed in the CCH student section, or else the section would have 800 in it. Imagine that. NCC allows girls in their section... the majority of the school just obviously doesn't show up. I have said for years looking across at the NCC section, that they have the second best section in the area, but not close to ours. But the total enrollment thing doesn't fly here. The student sections in numbers should be equal.

They have played numbers 2, 3, 4 in the region, All A 9th region champs and the region host team. Solid Road for CCH.

I'll be there in the Colonel Crazy section.

Great game for CCH. The game was never really in doubt, even though NCC did cut the lead to 7. Good effort by both teams, and great atmosphere. Cheering sections were great.

I think he swatted Tim the times you are thinking. Unless he wound up with 5 blocks, which he may have who knows. VERY athletic and has great hops. The thing that makes him stand out over other defenders is that he is not only quick, but he can block shots even when they are put up very quickly. Tierney's shot is very quickly put up and is hard to get a read on or block and Simpson did well to block them.

^^Lol. On a side note... I heard the other day in pre-cal, that only 1 private school has won a state championship in the past 31 years (basketball). :scared: :scared: How about that for an advantage. BTW, I believe the school that did it was LexCath.

The way CCH is playing and they blew out the number 2,3, and 4 teams in the region by about a 50+ point combined margin of victory, the 9th could be more of the same.

Wow good result for PRP. Doss had a very solid team this year.

The thing I have noticed about the NCC student section is that they are doing the same cheers this year as CCH was doing last year. BTW, the roller coaster is a St. X cheer and was taken to NKY through a CCH guy, but it's what NCC does.

This is exactly what they need. Hill will step up next year, he has leading potential.
