Just because you are a freshman doesn't mean you are forced to be on the freshman team you know. If he was throwing as far ahead of the other kids as you say... then he could have made noise on varsity.

Same here. The top 2 teams (argueably) in a region like the 9th are not cinderellas.

Holmes will be #1 preseason based solely on returning talent, not of the previous year's success. CovCath will be #2 and from then on I'm not sure.

If pure talent was the criteria for top teams... Holmes would be in my top 3 almost without a doubt. They have speed, ballhanding, and court awareness. Everyone on this site knows of their downfall. They are not a top team as of right now. If they shape up and play as a team, they could be scary. You've talked multiple times about they are a completely different team... I hope you are right. They have the talent. And I will keep doubting them until they prove me otherwise.

My bad. 25 Years. And CCH destroyed Dixie last year. Had Dixie won, or even kept the game close last year, that would give them more of an advantage, but they didn't. I'm not saying that Dixie will not be better than CCH next season, I'm just wondering how winning 3 out of 4, while getting beat by 34 this past season has to do with this next season.

Scott County will probably have the best 1 - 2 punch in the state. Only a Junior and a Soph I believe this year is scary...

And CovCath won the 30 years before that... I fail to see how this makes Dixie better than CCH this next year.

I agree with you on one out of the two posts. Holmes, the past 2 years and next year included, possesses the best talent in the 9th region. Now, they do not play like a team, so they are like Michigan State in this respect. You never know which team will show up. And second, I don't remember Highlands ever reloading... after the Neltner days, they have been a pretty poor/average team, and this year had the season they have been waiting for. But I will say that the future looks bright for them.

Does this mean Farrell will be full time catcher? And Larkin will rotate in as catcher when Farrell pitches - or will he not pitch this year?

I wish the poll was publicly able to see who voted yes. I would have pmed every one of them and asked them why. As you see... none of the "yes" voters have fessed up.

As I said before, the boxing cheer was thought up Wednesday morning and was explained to the student body just hours later... that's organization. The boxing cheer, because of originality was my favorite.

The trophy in 04 was not registered by KAPOS/KHSAA. It was donated by the parents, so I doubt it will be the same type.
