Depends on pitching. If Curley pitches... then CCH will have a tough time with the Beechies and their defense will have to hold up. Beechwood will ride Curley's arm as long as they can, and get their runs in before he goes out, unless he goes all the way.

Clay Lampl is no Michael Romes. Romes was a good ball handler and could take it to the hoop off the dripple. Lampl has limited post moves and is not very strong. Being 6'5 that helps... but they played completely different roles and positions.

From the reports I see on here, Mason has trouble keeping the numbers low in the errors column. That may need to be addressed.

This past week, CovCath's opening game was supposed to start at 12, but started at 1. This was because of standing water on the field. Someone there told me that 8 of the 5 gallon buckets were filled. That's 40 gallons for those who don't like math.

Well said bluto. Just because something happens to work out doesn't mean it was a good decision. If the play at the plate had been overthrown to the backstop, then it was still a risky move, just happened to work out. Old Soda... you need to realize that Bluto was not out to get your coach - just observing.

College is different. Players are expected to compete and Florida is nationally ranked. Not saying that Belfry should have kept the score down... somethings you just cannot help.

After a solid basketball season maybe a good baseball season as well.
