:rolleyes:Yeah and sometimes the best teams are in the same region and don't get to go to the state tourney in B-ball.It happens.Travel IS AN ISSUE for some schools.Last year my sons school canceled some JV games because of fuel prices!While no system is perfect I think it makes sense from a financial standpoint to a large # of schools.Just like college polls, you might think your 4 seed is better than some else's 1 seed,but opinions don't mean squat! The so -called#2 team in college polls lost 4 out of 5 weeks this season, all to lower ranked teams.Play ball and let that decide who is best!

No, but I am not predicting my Favorite team to be state champs!I prefer the one game at a time philosophy. If you look too far ahead, you might miss what's in front of you!

What kind of parents would let their kids quit on their team! I would NEVER let my kid quit on his team mates! There is no way to justify it! If you start you must finish or you are gutless!!!

Just exactly what standards were lowered? Were ineligible players used? Who has the power to lower these standards,The coaches or school board?These are very,very serious allegations.Did all this anomosity surface because of losing?

If some of the posters on this thread are supposed fans and supporters of FHS I would hate to see their enemies!It doesn't matter if you call"the same tired plays "if the players execute them.If FHS wins the State title, will you detractors give the coaches any credit or say it was in spite of coaching?If you want to give the players all the credit then they need to accept blame as well!Good luck to the players and coaches at FHS from here on out ,and don't get poisoned by the so called fans!!!

Does Franklin County have a shot? Not being tested truly until round 4 could they win that round vs a tough opponent in bell or lex cath and possibly win state?

With the playoffs starting this Friday, what teams do you think will have a shot at winning the state title? From what I have seen, I like Lex Cath, Bell Co., Franklin Co., Bullit East and Lone Oak. What teams do you think will be playing in the semi-finals and the finals?

the state semi finals have a potential match uo for franklin county to play lexington catholic and if they live up the last years games then it would be the best game to watch on that friday
