I agree with this.....

I believe that the weather will play a big factor in the game. I hear that its supposed to rain on Thursday and Friday. It helped Ashland by throwing the ball last week but if it rains then that part of the game may be taken out. Ashland wins if its not raining but if it does Ashland loses by 2 touchdowns.

what does everyone think that their record will be after the next 4 games? ( Belfry, Russell, Portsmouth West & Prestonsburg)

Where are you all when the field needs painted ( which I have helped almost every week for the past 4 years and my father the other 3) or the senior flags put up, the cat heads put in the corner of the endzone. Also the last fire truck I followed was the one in 1990 and I was 9. I just dont think that our the tomcat fans can stand the truth ( which is that our football team isnt really good right now) and you all hope to much. We arent a very good football team. We only play about 15-16 guys with 40 on the sidelines just watching. The coaches say we have alot of depth which is true but we dont use it. Ashland will start 0-3 and probably will only win 3-4 games.

Considering his stats from last year he has to be in the top 5 state wide.

Well i dont see that kid playing or I havent heard that either. Yes he is tall but he reminds me of the kid from Rose Hill with less ability.

With the way Fairview played they deserved to win this ball game. I believe that Ashland has a good shot at winning the region though.

I think that the program at BC is in trouble due to the negative things that has happened in basketball and football. I believe that BC had the best talent of the teams in the region this year and it just wasnt used right. Now it has to fall back on the coach. But BC is going to be hard to beat in baseball though.

I listened to the game and it sounded like it was a back and forth game. These last couple of games Boyd Co. sems to be playing better.

But the biggest difference in this game on Friday is that this time Russell lost their assistant coach. Could be the whole difference in the game.

Well well well... I think that I have heard this before. I have really close ties with Chad and he said that Hicks personally attacked him by name which should never happen. Chad has got alot of phone calls these last couple of days thanking him for a job well done. By the way, Chad isnt the biggest Ashland fan right now anyways.

Now on the Owens kid- He is a great great kid that hasnt had all the things that this kids around here has. I think that people need to take that into consideration before people start complaining.

When did BC changwe their style of play. All the games I have seen is this type of run and gun offense. If this team ( Boyd Co. ) plays together then they will be a factor come March but it takes a team to win at that time not just a couple players.

It's kind of getting old that BC never loses a game. Its always the refs fault, or they went to eat 1 hour before the game. Bc is a team that hasnt improved since the first day. They dont play together as a team. Even though they havent improved they still are probably one of the top 3 teams in the region. If they started to play togther then they have a "shot" at winning the region.

I always thought that the most talented kids play weather that being 8th graders or 11th. Grade school is when everyone plays not at higher grade levels. Should you concentrate on 8 good players or let everyone in the school play. This doesnt make since. I believe that this is how its always been in basketball ( NBA, College, or whatever) Thats like saying Lebron cant play more than a guy that has been on the team for 5 years. Find something else to complain about Ashland fans. I think that I have heard these comments from UK fans to( I am a huge UK fan by the way.) Ashlad fans need to relax because I truley believe that we will be there in March.

I dont think that its team turmoil but its fan turmoil. At Ashland they are used to winning and have to find other excuses than the clear ones. Ashland lost 12 games and went to the sweet 16. Ashland fans get over it. Ashland isnt the best team in the region but could be due to Flynn. I hope he stays and not let you AShland fans run him off.Good job Mike!!!!!!!!
