Just a great game to watch. I stayed after the Fleming County game because I knew it would be a dandy. Hats off to Morgan's fans, that gym was electric. Lot of fun to watch, but I didn't see too many questionable calls. At least, they didn't go either way.

I agree with you and I was there too. Great 16th region match up..with a few questionable call..BOTH WAYS. Morgan had 2 players to foul out and was without the services of D Adkins the second half....I do hope he will be back soon. Some of the Morgan faithful can give us some updates on him.

How many points did Owens have?

Devan Adkins has a deep bruise on the hip bone.He will be out a couple of days.

An exciting game to say the least. Owens is a great talent and hard to stop. Especially tough when you can get away with palming the ball as much as he does. Gutty effort by Boyd in the second half to get back in the game. What I wasn't impressed with was a couple Lion players cursing and acting childish. Play the game instead of cursing people in the stands.

Owens had 35 points and 9 rebounds,good game I thought Owens

was fouled at the end.But what do you expect.Morgan is a good team

and I would say they will see each other again.

Dont beleave he was in double figures.Justin Moore and

Justin Selby did a good job defending him.

Owens can straight up play the game. I saw him in a previous game against Campbell County. He drive right into any defense with his quickness, and can score or pass to the other players. I also give credit to his teammates, When Owens has the ball you have to be ready for any kind of pass.

Any ways great win for Morgan County and the 16th regionional tournament should be a good one to watch

Owens is a talent that is for sure. I thought Morgan did a nice job on him forcing him into some bad shots. What did he shoot from the field? I would like to know. The call at the end, could have went either way from my vantage point. Great win for Morgan Co. That was Boyd Countys first trip to Morgan County in how long?

They gave 11-35 on the radio. Don't know for sure though. He took a ton of shots I do know that. Young did as good a job as you can hope for on him. It's just impossible to match his athleticism when he elevates. I can't remember the last time Boyd came to Morgan. I graduated in 93 and I can't recall a time but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened either. :lol:

Morgan and Boyd played each other 3 times in the 98 season... The Season opener was Boyd at Morgan.
