Dawg45 Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 L.c. always gives Belfry a good game but I'm pulling for the dogs 14-8 in this one. The dawg pound is a hard place to get a win.:dancingpa
INSIDEZONE Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Belfry in a laugher, things are only going to get worse in bulldog land.
UKBLUE1964 Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Well I be in for the game and hope the Dawgs can pull the upset.
Dawg45 Posted August 27, 2006 Author Posted August 27, 2006 Belfry in a laugher, things are only going to get worse in bulldog land. Your not to fond of what has happened in the pound in the past decade are you? Breaking the 42 game winning streak of breathitt, game winning field goal last season to be boyd co., some of the great upsets has happened here. The past 2 years the bulldogs have fell 2 points short of belfrey and if that'd had a kicker then that could have won both games because they was in scoring position both games. Last season they even played without there 2 best players too. Hang in there dawgs because I'm still pulling for you guys. I think this friday will be like the old days, the whole town shutting down to come to the game and watch the dawgs play there heart out. :ylsuper:
REDDEVILMVP'06 Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Game is back in the pound , it has to be close or LCHS has folded it's tent. Pirates have played in big games , for Dawgs this year , none is bigger. LCHS needs to rally the echo's , get a big turn out for this game and show the kids and coaches , the sideline coaches are with them thru thick and thin ... Call in Tater Mckenzie from Florida and some of the other "old timers" ...
Kick Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 This game for L.C. could be the defining point for their entire season, do they come in with a good fight or do they go back up on the porch and hunker down. Which one it is I don't know but I do think that Belfry will have way too much for them this night.
Dad of a DAWG Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 This game for L.C. could be the defining point for their entire season, do they come in with a good fight or do they go back up on the porch and hunker down. Which one it is I don't know but I do think that Belfry will have way too much for them this night. Looks like LC will be with out two starting running backs this week . But as far as backing up and hunkering down I DON'T THINK SO not in these Dawgs win or loose Belfry will know they have been in a ball game these two teams all ways provide big BIG hits all night long . And are kids will keep hitting no matter if they are down by 40 or up by that many . One thing is for sure these young Dawgs will lay the boom on you every change they get . And I think Belfry knows this as well as any one .Good Luck Dawgs now lets get it on:fight:
Dad of a DAWG Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 What two backs are out? Coty Roberts & Mark Fitzpatrick
Morehead State Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 I'll take the Pirates 42-21, with one LC score coming late. The Belfry Pirates are fine and will IMO surprise alot of people, I don't think they got a lot of respect after the Ashland game, I guess because everyone thought they would beat Ashland, but I thought Belfry had a great showing against Ashland, they could have easily won that game but I am glad we went for two, showed guts! I look for Belfry to get back on the winning track next week in Louisa. Go Bucs!
REDDEVILMVP'06 Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 A little Mountain pride is on the line here in this one Lawrence came oh so close last year but decided to go for two to try to win it.... The dawgs no matter what kinda team they have are always hard to knock off in the DOG POUND you can better believe Billy Goldsmith will have the Dawgs barking their loudest.... but I see the Pirates prevailing in an old fashion SLOBBERKNOCKER Belfry-17 Dawgs-14
JC Alumni 76 Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Even with this game at Lawrence i have to give the edge to Belfry. The Dawgs are struggling and Belfry just came off a lose so Haywood should have the boys ready. My prediction: Belfry: 28 LC: 7
