This one will be good for a while...but I can't see LC being able to shut down Belfry's running game....

Despite the loss to Ashland.....The running of Belfry's QB is something to watch as the season develops. He has nice speed, good moves and is extremely intelligent....and broke off several nice runs against the Tomcats.

If Belfry can put the fumblitis behind them.....like it or not...they're going to be a machine by season's end.

If Coal Grove takes LC to the shed like they did, I can't see them staying close in this one.

Belfry 39

Lawrence Co 12

This game will be really close...

but I do believe that the mighty pirates will pull out a win... :ylsuper:

Belfry - 49

Lawrence County - 7

This game may be at the "Dawg Pound", but I honestly can't see Lawerence competing with Belfry.

Might be close in the first, but Belfry should win by a couple of TD's.

I'm gonna pick Lawrence Co. 22 - Belfry 16

What happened to the two backs? Did they get hurt?

I wasn't at the game last Friday. Can anyone fill me in on some of the details?

Not sure about M. Fitzpatrick but Coty hurt his shoulder and was trying to get ready to play but it is not going to happen.

One other note I might add, LC not only had these two players hurt but a LC cheerleader was injured last friday night as well.

Looks like Mark will be out for about 3 weeks he has a concusion I all so under stand that we have lost a couple other kids one being Ace Waller and the other Timmy Cantrell . The Waller kid has is arm in a sling and I think that the Cantrell kid just quit I hope that isn't ture he sure was a good looking kid with a chance maybe to play the next level at a small school . Even if all the kids was healthy come friday night they would have to play thier A- game now with all these kids out they will truely have to play as a team and an error free game no mistakes and no turn overs . I think it can be done they have played as a team so far just made a few mistakes here and their . But they will get on track and surprise somebody this year.;)

Ive got to wish Belfry luck with all the reports Ive heard of the Sportsmenship they showed Ashland. That says a lot about a team in my book. But LC needs this game, more than Belfry does so who knows. Good luck to the Dawgs and the Pirates.

Thankful for a blocked extra-point,

Yoter

Belfry 35

Lawrence 12

21 -6 at Halftime

Belfry bounces back, 27-16.
