Who cares about Johnson Central? They aren't playing anymore... The last time I checked this thread was about Paintsville's win over Lynn Camp.

Home games are easier to win because the team is more comfortable on their own playing surface and also travel time for some of the playoff games are ridiculous. For example: the last two teams to play Somerset in this year's playoffs have been Phelps and Pikeville. Phelps had to travel 4 hours to come to Somerset and Pikeville will be traveling about 3 hours and 15 minutes. That is a definite disadvantage.

John Cole from Somerset is under-rated. He is like the 4th best reciever in the state by yardage and that is on a team that doesn't throw the ball a lot due to blowouts. I think it is a great achievement when you get 7 catches for 178 yards and 2 touchdowns on Danville.

Although Mercer has had a very good year, I believe it ends tonight. Good luck to both teams.

Actually Tremayne Perkins who is at EKU now had like 5 touchdowns for Somerset and one punt return for a touchdown called back. I don't know how Pikeville dominated if they couldn't control one person. That was a great game and I hope this Friday is a great game as well. Good luck to both teams.

If they did this then they would have to go back to only letting two teams out of each district into the playoffs. If they didn't then everyone would make the playoffs.
