Shaun Music, QB, Johnson Central. Heart and soul of the team. Excellent option QB, average passer, but without him, just like last year, it would take Central several weeks to recover. Lots of heart too, after coming back from a gruesome injury that would have ended most HS players' careers. Excellent defensive player too. Not under-rated by his team. But in the region, Ron Blume gets all the attention.

Jon Lundy, QB/DB, Harlan, not your typical mold of QB...he doesn't "wow" you with flashy footwork, a hyped-up arm, or terrific speed...and he plays in an offense that runs 90% of the time, but he is absolutely the toughest player on Harlan's team, if not Class A, District 7.

 

He plays and does whatever is asked on offense, defense and special teams (and he is asked to do just about everything), and he plays as hard as anyone, even when often banged up, though most don't know because he refuses to show it (makes his toughness even more impressive). He is a junior, about 5'8", about 170.

 

He has accepted team discipline on occasion without a problem; he is the biggest cheerleader for his teammates when not in the game; and, IMO, he would do anything asked including move from QB if best for the team.

 

Teddy Thompson is Harlan's most publicized player, but Lundy's toughness provides the team's attitude.

Rob Madon, only a sophomore but he is very good.

Clint Cashen, talk is cheap but this kid is for real.

I think Johnson (the big fullback) is under-rated on both sides of the ball.

Most O- line Players are not talked about much and they are the biggest part of the team. That is way I am saying Aaron Mullins he is a great Center he is just in the 11 grade this is hes first year starting for the bobcats but he played alot last year.

Mason also had a very hard nosed LB I had heard nothing about. Somebody from Mason should toot his horn he played on the right side of the defense. Any body got a name?
