Most people will probably never see a high school game that exciting for a long time. Definitely worth the drive and the price of admission.

Can someone tell me what happened to Joe C. that he wasn't playing on Saturday against Highlands? CovCath wins this game because they showed on Saturday against a very good Highlands team that even without their best DB their defense can still hold up.

Last year when Pete was a junior I had heard rumors that he was on Notre Dame's short list and that Charlie Weis even came and got tape of him from the coaches at CCH. However, I have also heard rumors that Pete is not interested in playing at the next level.

CCH just can't afford to let down emotionally after such a huge win over a very good Highlands team. Where and at what time is this game being played?

The first team to lose focus on this game and look to the next one won't be in the next game so I would worry one game at a time. Go Colonels!

Wow. Really can't give much of a prediction. HHS has a chip on their shoulder that I'm sure they would LOVE to remove, but CCH now knows what it feels like to finally beat the team from Ft. Thomas. I say CCH likes that taste and won't let it go. CCH 27 HHS 24 Cannot wait. Is it Saturday yet?

Our neighbors won't even allow us to install lights so I'm sure a cannon blast won't get too far. Besides, its not like that cannon is going to go off at all. (just a joke, don't get angry, this will be one of the best, highest scoring games PARK HILLS has seen in a long while.)

That game is what the CCH-HHS rivalry is all about. All due respect to HHS they played one heck of a game. Can't wait for the rematch. I liked the CCH student section chanting "no lifeguard on duty" before the game started.

I've never played football on turf, but having played soccer on natural grass and then switching to turf, you couldn't pay me to play on grass again. With grass you ran into rocks, ditches, soft spots, hard spots, spots with no grass. Natural grass was just not nice to fall down on and I'm sure it is worse with football.

Colonels by 7. Cov Cath is long due a win in this series and I think last year and this year were our best chances and it didn't happen last year.

After seeing Pete Sutton snatch a pass that was about 10 feet high with one hand and almost take it for a touchdown, I wonder how many more schools he is gonna hear from.

CCH has essentially seen the same opponents for the last couple of years so for them to go to Watterson and play them last year with the new look offense and defense they had, they didn't know as much about BW as they do about say Highlands or Dixie or their NKY counterparts that they play year in and year out. Sure they watched film and studied them and what not, but playing Watterson at their place was something new for the Colonels. CCH has home field advantage this time and knows what to expect from the Eagles(I believe that is their mascot but I could be wrong). Not gonna pick a score but whoever wins won't win by too much. I'll still say CCH pulls this one off. Just like Carson and the Bengals, the Colonels get their revenge this week.
