Thank you. Fouls were 7-0 at one point which is ridiculous. This time it wasn't bad calls it was missed calls. CCH did not get to the line until the 4th quarter when BB starting intentionally fouling to stop the clock. And it was bad because most of CCH's points came off layups inside. I'm not a math teacher but probability says that at some point inside there must have been a foul on Brossart. Great game by both teams though. D. Noll is coming on big right now and playing the best ball of his career at just the right time.

CCH had their chance until the refs made terrible calls that gave Scott Co. free throws and took away CCH's momentum.

CCH fans have been known to blame the refs for losses or close games and criticize me for making excuses but the refs handed Scott Co. this game. It was the worst officiating I have ever seen. Guarding a player underneath the basket by merely putting your hands up and doing nothing else is not a foul and the refs called at least 5 or 6 of these that resulted in 2 free throws or an and 1. And there was also a call where the Scott County player was on the ground at the free throw line, they blew the whistles and he jumped afterwards and the refs gave him the bucket and the foul Don't get me wrong they made a few bad calls going the Colonels way, but they made soo many bad calls that took the momentum away from CCH. It was a great game until about 7 minutes left when the refs decided they liked Scott Co. more. Okay, bring on the criticism.

Just curious if anyone knew but how many players from Northern Kentucky schools (Boone, NewCath, CovCath, Highlands, etc.) play for NKU? I saw some highlights of an NKU game last night and they said Scott Bibbins and the name rung a bell and i was just wondering.

I meant in terms of points. He did play a remarkable game against the Camels but I would like to see him have another huge game with about 20+ points.

I have not seen SK play this year but are they really that good that they can give CCH a run for their money? In the past few years CCH has beaten them pretty badly. I expect Schult and Noll to keep it coming and TJ to bounce back. CCH 62 SK 51

Agreed. The Holmes/Highlands game should put an end to this number 2 and 3 mess. Now let's just say IF Holmes beats Highlands by about 15 points. Would that put CCH at number 2 because Cov Cath played Holmes so tight or would they still be tied or would HHS still be second and CCH third?

On one of Holmes' possessions, I believe it was Hill, hammered TJ on the inside and I know for a fact that it was a charge because TJ had been standing with his feet set for about a second and the refs didn't call anything.

Very good game but I expected it to be a little more high scoring. Can't wait for the Highlands/Holmes game. That being said, I AM NOT making excuses, they did not lose this game, the better team won the game but the 9th region refs, to me, just don't seem to appreciate CCH. I saw a few bad or missed calls tonight and I believe that this is the same ref crew that did the CCH/Highlands and I saw a few of the same types of calls tonight. Missed charges, charges that were blocks and vice versa, they didn't have any bad traveling calls they just missed a few. And yes, they had maybe 1 or 2 bad calls for CCH but it just seems like to me that they are missing the big calls and calling the little stupid things that no one cares about like pushes and stuff. Anyways, kudos to both teams. Can't wait till regionals.

It's gonna be a very good game and I would like to see CCH out on top, but it won't be easy for them. Holmes 58 CCH 50 BTW, I like the home page picture. Tubby Smith is in the background and it would be heavenly for UK to end up getting Mayo and Walker.

1. Holmes 2A. HHS 2B. CCH Criticize me all you want but until HHS beats Holmes, I still don't think that one team is that much better.If Highlands had blown CCH out it would have been a different story. Sure HHS won the game, but a game between these two teams can go either way on any given day. If the player for HHS (sorry I'm not familiar with names) had missed the game winning shot and CCH had taken the ball down and scored and won, then what would people be saying? CCH had the lead for a while and could have won but they let down a little bit and Highlands came back. So as of right now I still think CCH and HHS are tied for second. And if CCH is third and they beat Holmes by 2 then what happens? People would say they are better than Highlands even tho Highlands won the head to head. So IMHO these two powerhouses are still tied.

Not making excuses. Highlands won the game fair and square and the refs did do an excellent job of keeping the game in check and from getting out of control. I saw a few walks and little things like that from both teams that could have swung the game either way. And in a game that is as close as this one was, little things like an uncalled travel or a missed foul can have a big impact. Hats off to Highlands though.

IMHO, Young should not have gotten that technical for the altercation with Ben G. Sure, Young got in his face but Ben was so hotheaded after the foul that no matter where Young had stood up Ben would have been right up in his face. From what I saw Young did not do anything but stand up after he had fallen down. But I could be wrong because of the angle i was watching the game from. Also, what was the technical called on Coach Listerman for? All that I saw was the Highlands fans going crazy saying technical and the next thing I know the Highlands player is shooting free throws.

You cannot be serious with Beechwood over not only CCH but NCC as well.

If CCH plays the way they did against Beechwood and overlooks Highlands a little, they will be in a world of hurt. CCH has just got to play their game and they'll come out on top. TJ can't force things. CCH 58 HHS 49

CCH because of the enviroment. Nothing too fancy about the gym, but the students love their team and they love to make it a great atmosphere. Makes great fun for parents, alumni and futute highschool students.

I think CCH will be very good next year, alot better than some people think. They are returning about half of the players on each side of the ball. Losing Ellison, McGee, and Hudson will hurt, but I think Bleser and some other juniors can and will fill those shoes very well.

Don't get all wound up over this, it's not that big of a deal. If CCH had to practice at NCC for the state title game and NCC was no longer in the running the NCC students would probably mention something about Bowling Green. That's just the way it is these days.
