Bleed Blue1 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 How do you guys think fridays game will turn out? Will covcath show up the first half, or will the pioneer fast break be too much..? What are your guys opinions...
cshs81 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 No opinion . I can't make it but I wish I could in order to see the Hester kid. I have yet to see the young man play.
skfan Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I plan to get there early!! I am going to enjoy this one!!I hope the sk superfans come out in force and drown out the CovCath cheering section!! :thumb: I haven't seen CovCath play this year yet. I do hope the Pioneers put together two good halves. I think they will do just fine! How do CovCath match up with Hester, Schambach, Elbert, Hurt, and Hurd??? Does anyone know the status of Seth Blevins???

NEERFAN Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Should be a good game, 5 point game, could go either way.
Regulator Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 It's going to be a close one IMO. I think SK needs to look for Hurd in the middle and let Elbert do what he did against Conner. He played aggressive and hit the boards on both ends of the floor. Also CCH needs to watch out for Schambach who is deadly when on. And of course Hester will get his. Ill take SK 65-60
Regulator Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Hurt his back. He's in a brace i believe he should be back for districts.
ccveteran Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Should be a good battle between Tierney and Hester. If Noll continues with his recent play and Schult follows up his most recent performance I think CovCath depth inside wears down SK. CovCath by 5 in a close game. :walk:

Does anyone know the status of Seth Blevins??? Hester and Tierney match up with maybe a very slight edge to Hester. Bo and TJ get the edge over Schambach and Elbert. Inside Hurd is bigger and taller than Young, but Noll will probly have another big game against Hurt. I would like to say that CovCath's bench will be the difference, but that bench is getting thin with Sam Cahill to be only about 70% for the game. It seems like SK is a first half team and CovCath is a second half team. I see a game with a lot of lead changes. If SK shoots well from 3, they have a good shot. My prediction..... CCH-61 SK-57
chucktaylors Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 The masseyratings.com predicted CovCath 60 SK 53
benihanas Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I have not seen SK play this year but are they really that good that they can give CCH a run for their money? In the past few years CCH has beaten them pretty badly. I expect Schult and Noll to keep it coming and TJ to bounce back. CCH 62 SK 51

He played a fine basketball game against Campbell County.
benihanas Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Agreed but TJ has nothing to bounce back from. He played a fine basketball game against Campbell County. I meant in terms of points. He did play a remarkable game against the Camels but I would like to see him have another huge game with about 20+ points.
