Can they? Obviously so. Will they? I personally don't think so. Paintsville IMO is a better team this year than last. Not saying that Raceland isn't, just think Paintsville has kept there gap or extended on it in terms of talent. This game is always fun to watch cause both teams take their play to another level against one another. Good luck to both teams when this game happens.

Hopefully they just have their starting O-line, QB, RB, WR, TE, D-Line, DE, LB, CB, Safety, and Head Coach back in this game.:clap:

In a class which doesn't usually get much discussion, this thread has blown up. Anyway, BGP is the best rankings out there IMO. Their voters are knowledgeable on the game and don't let W-L records dictate their rankings. That's the problem with the AP, they vote primarily on W-L instead of all around strength or performance.

Personally, I think Cov Cath should be in the conversation if St. X is going to be. Given St. X has beat 2 teams better than anyone Cov Cath has, but the Colonels have been flat destroying people.

My skepticism lies in how good are they from Home? Beechwood is a great team but Corbin should have at least won the game IMO. Belfry made quick work of NCC who turned around and beat what some thought was the best team in 2A. Corbin's playoff path takes them on the road, that's why I can't see them pulling it off.

If Desales is "who we think they are" , they should put LC away fairly early. One has to wonder though, what that late comeback against Highlands could do for this Catholic ball club?

I think Belfry and Boyle are the two trending in the right directions. All I know, is this class is gonna be a heck of a lot of fun from the week before Thanksgiving and on. Lots of exciting football to be played in this class.

No way. SC is at its lowest level that I can ever recall. Belfry could legitimately have a running clock in the first quarter. As hard as Haywood may try, this one will be really ugly.

Boyd will score more than most ppl would think. JMO. Matney will do what he can not to humiliate them.

Glad to see JC back at home after a stretch of long road games. Just wish it was a better opponent. JC makes quick work of the Lions and subs early. JC by a lot.

Nice game last night by JC after a string of long road trips. Anyone close to this program knows, this years team will be much more traditional ground and pound. This team is made up of a bunch of big hard nosed kids. I was most impressed with the defense. After that initial drive, they settled in nicely and held Moore's playmakers primarily in check. #6 JJ Weaver is a very nice player with tons of upside, good luck to that young man and the whole Moore team on the rest of their season.

Bell Co. played someone tonight. The Dudley Hilton resurrection will take some time. Congrats to the Colonels on a solid win.

Ironton hasn't been "Ironton" for 10 years or so. I loved watching those teams in the 90's play Belfry. The mystique around that program is gone. Congrats to the Tomcats. Anytime you post a goose egg, it's a good night.

Haven't watched much ESPN as of late for these reasons. I think ESPN will continue to suffer from their bias, just my opinion.

A good place to start if I were Lewis would be firing the OC. This Bengals offense has WAY to much talent and potential to have failed reaching the endzone twice. If the Bengals fail to reach the postseason, then bye bye Lewis.
