  3. Lived by it, now preach it.
  4. Good confidence booster for the raider program. Coach Gay will get it done in his second try. Good job raiders.
  5. Must have we had a little shower early then after that it was a nice night for football, little breezy and cool.
  6. Spite the loss it sounds like pikeville played a good tough game. I was being kept updated while i was at somerset
  7. why would the weather have done it in?
  8. Good win. Great confidence booster for the hounds. Cashen was back to his old self. Jesse Hayden and yet another great game on the line. He is just a sophomore great things to come from that big kid. The future looks good, with ryan fritts running the ball there at the end. It wouldn't suprise me to se him in the backfield before the year is over. Good job hounds!
  9.     :flame:
  10. No but that was allways my mentality, and still is, you got to play with that reckless abandon, playing every single play like it is your last.:ylsuper:
  11. Pikeville pulls it off gaining the respect they deserve in the mountains. Coach Jackson will lead them to the promised land in the near future
  12. Football is a painfull game, full of 'hurt'. It takes a special person to play this game. If it was easy and pain free everybody would play it. Injuries are a part of life, we don't like it to be but it is. A REAL player will suck it up and play through the pain and hurt, others will lie down and want the attention. When you see a kid get his clock cleaned and he gets up not really knowing where he is at but keeps on going, then my friend you have found yourself a football player.
  13. Corbin's middle school came out with a couple of BIG HARD faught wins at Somerset. These kids showed alot of heart and character over coming the adversity. 7th Grade 8-0 8th Grade 20-18
  14. My bad i meant to say 'Jacket"
  15. If your hurtin play through it, if your injured sombody will help you.
  16. Thats fine if you think that, by the way wear that old leather UK hat again so i can find you at the games
  17. Let me rephrase effort needed to change, and it did. Not saying at all that all those kids weren't playing there heart out at times. I honestly think that has been remedied. The Bell Co. game showed alot of improvement. The Coaches can't strap the pads on and do it for them the KHSAA won't allow that. They had to find what they needed on their own and they did.
  18. Belfry vs. Pikeville, battle for the mountains baby!!!!! Good luck P'ville.
