McCreary Central 42 Jackson Co. 0

Featured Replies

A very good performance by the Raiders. Had three touchdowns called back in the first quarter, but still a solid performance against a weak team. Jackson couldn't get their offense running really well, and McCreary got 2 safetys and several more attempts.

Jackson is alright for a first year team, and after several years should be a much better team.

McCreary: 42

Jackson: 0

That's a good win for McCreary. There's been times in the last few years that the Raiders couldn't consider anyone a weak team. The first step is beating the teams you should beat. Sounds like this will be a season for McCreary to build on. :thumb:

Good confidence booster for the raider program. Coach Gay will get it done in his second try. Good job raiders.

Good game for the Raiders, even though it was against a first year team.

Hats off to Jackson County for trying to get a program started.

Raiders get ready for Lincoln.

When was the last time McCreary Co. beat anyone by a score of 42 - 0 ???

I cannot remember if the Raiders have ever won by that kind of score, I am being told the Raiders have not shut out a team since 1996.

I really feel that this Raider program just might be on the right direction. The programs for the younger players are in place and it is starting to show.

Yes they do have a well coached middle school program. They are really good witht he kids and a class act. The program is on the up and up.

Why don't they get the guys that play on the basketball team to play? Heck... They are huge.

Basketball and baseball have allways been the teams supported in that county. Over the years they have had some great athletes go through that school some played a sport most didn't. The have had some really good athletes play football but not enough. If they could get some community supprt over there for football they could have a really good program. Get some people to start caring early in a kids football career. I think they are starting to take the right steps to get people involed in the program. I hope they get it going, i would love to see football take the place of baseball and basketball over there, think that football will teach them alot more valuble life lessons. In a county like that you need to start breeding fine and discilined young men early with football.
