Good for Dixie! I agree that HHS "had it coming". Lesson learned and noted for sure. Glad to see young Jason Waldenmeyer was on his toes and ready for the "squib" kick (and I DID hear a Dixie coach saying that it was NOT an onside attempt...wink,wink,nod,nod!). Dixie's O-D lines just dominated the Birds. Hope all the injured return quickly.

Josh is "testing the waters". See how the injury feels during, after, and a day or so after the game. Can shut it down if necessary...or crank it up! The goal is to have him for the state run!

I'm going to nominate Highlands Senior running back Clint "the sprint" Crawford. On returning from a brief hiatus with a sprained shoulder, Clint toted the ball 12 times for 172 yards and 2 touchdowns in a Highlands 48-21 win over Hopkinsville. Paving the way for many of his runs is fellow Bluebird Senior, Nick Martin.

All of them are fine players...but he missed on quite a few. He's drunk the kool-aid on some of his picks...and hit the nail on the head on some others. I won't name names because...quite frankly...there are too many left out!

I have been roundly "chastised" by the female members of the family for referring to Adam as "Lumpy". As a youth it did fit him perfectly...but after 4 years in the Dale Mueller Body Sculpting Program, it doesn't fit as well. :lol:

I thought the young Alford boy played a very good game at LB. I liked our "short yardage" package today. Left, between All-state candidate Adam Dempsey and an ever improving Hunter Schlosser, with Rosie "road-grader" paving the way from the backfield. Things are really starting to gel upfront!! And how about "the Big 1" Ty Seidel, soph, making multiple special team tackles!!

WOW! I only saw the 1st quarter and thought the Birds were in for a long night. CC Ran the ball right down the HHS throat for the first score of the game. HHS came right back with True leading a drive, but it stalled about the 20. CC took over and was on the march again when I had to leave. My son came home and told me the Bird's won. Way to fight back Birds! but y'all are going to give Charlie a heart attack if you keep this come from behind act up! (LOL)
