  1. Adam Dempsey had his "growing pains" early last year and got better every game. Now he is the preeminent lineman in NKY, if not the state. All the other first time starters have had their "pains" and are progressing very well and get better with each game. You don't post scores like the Birds have in the past few games without a dominating O-line. Especially without your top RB's.
  2. Almost as good as if Leatherneck would have agreed with one my posts!!
  3. I'm not real big on the excuses. CovCath JV beat HHS JV. Hopefully all involved learned from the experience. That's what it's about.
  4. ...4th and less than a yard for a first at the 45....and you PUNT????? Where is the faith in a 6'4" QB behind an "all-world" O-line??? Put that with the "other questionable play" and there's an indication to what is happening with the tream.
  5. Saw the hi-lites from Don Weber's show. Annie G. from NCC is absolutely dominant!
  6. Send your request to: Kirk Herbstreit c/o ESPN !!
  7. Boom.....Love the avatar! (You beat me to it!)
  8. Maybe that wise, old weasel Charlie Barr is saving something "special" for our country cousins from the county....Hmmmm?
  9. Don't forget that these "heroes" need some grunts to block for them or they go nowhere! :thumb:
  10. THAT's why her memory is blacked out to begin with! :sssh:
  11. By halftime there will be plenty of seats!! ....easy kenton county-ites....just fanning the flames!!! (LOL)
  12. Another outstanding performance for the Birds was QB Tony Guidugli. The Senior signal caller was 17/28 amassing 331 yds and 2 TDs. He also chipped in with 2 rushes for 30 yds and another TD. He did all this while only playing little over half the game. Protecting him was SR offensive Guard Peter Bardgett! Outstanding effort guys!!
  13. In a 55 to 28 victory over Dixie Heights, Highlands sophomore RB TYLER FENNELL had only 10 rushes but accumulated 154 yds. and 4 TD's!!!! WOW!! Blocking for him was Jr. stalwart Hunter Schlosser at Guard! Great job guys!!
  14. I got a feeling that Brossart has been "sand-bagging". Let me review their tape tonite and comment tomorrow!
  15. They improved their schedule immensely by getting HHS in regular season. Dixie is big but 1 out of 5 years they are strong, Lloyd...when was the last time they were strong? CCH / NCC should be mainstays. I know they are restricted by the same district restraints that HHS has on them. Plus "competitive" Ohio schools don't want to risk Harbin points against BW/HHS. You can only "season" underclassmen playing some of the teams in district...which I guess isn't a bad thing in the long run...helps keep the team stronger all around.
  16. Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!! Way to "step up" BW!! You don't get any better playing Brossart, Dayton, et al. But who will HHS scrimmage now?.....NCC????????
  17. C'mon BW...step up and play a schedule. Hang in there Mustangs!
  18. I'm looking forward to the Austin Collinsworth v. Pat Van Sant match up. If PVS truly is a POY candidate, this will need to be his "step up" game. Other interesting matchups will be HHS D-line v. the "mighty" CCH O-line. We'll see if the CCH O-line is "all that and a bag chips"! I don't see a blow out in this one...CCH has nothing to lose.
