The first game will make or break Greenup Co. Russell should beat them by two or three touchdowns The last five years total score is 148-52. The last time Greenup beat Russell was 2000 the score 21-13 Russell had 5 unforced turnovers that game but thats football. I went greenup schools until high school my dad decided to move to flatwoods so I could play football and run track we lost 8 games in the four years I played and we lost 6 track meets out of 58 in those four years also. My point is simply this pride will make or break a team. Mercer Co. will be better this year but its not 2a football anymore. A very good program that took a 1a school and a 2a school put them together and beat a 2a school for the state title by 3 points in 06 season they went 15-0 state champs. Then came the 07 season they go against teams that are the same size student wise they are and go 5-6. Mercer Co. players and fans should always be happy for the 06 season but the way the khsaa let it happen is sad. In 5a football they will have a very hard time getting out of the region, might be good enough to win District maybe. 08 season will be 8-4 good season for the 5a Mercer Co. Titans GOOD LUCK I TRUELY DO MEAN IT !!!! KEEP THE KIDS FOCUSED ON THE GOAL WHICH IS TO HAVE FUN AND BE ALL THAT THEY CAN BE ON AND OFF THE FIELD.

If Belfry beats JC they should win the 3A championship and I will say I'm sorry for saying what I feel will happen come Friday. BELFRY only good win was Corbin the rest of the games have just been practice and we all know it. If JC is healthy they will win. JC - 28 BHS - 18 p.s. my job in rd 4 will be to key on MAY like last year and I did a pretty good job of that wouldn't you say. I like Belfry just has not played nobody besides Corbin it was a great win though. Looking forward to playing you all in round 4 at your house again which is not a problem.
