The best story from the 15th region this season, besides Johnson Central, was Pikeville and their leading scorer was a freshmen.

LexCath and Rose Hill?? Great years by both schools, BUT something very fishy about this final game. I got a funny feeling that the days are numbered for two "private" schools to play for the big trophy. Sure, two great teams but you can't tell me that it is fair for two private schools to get this far while the rest of us play by different rules and teams like this can do what ever they want. Just my opinion but I bet I'm not alone in this statement!!! Congrats LC and RH!!

EXPO Forever....it is a no brainer!!! I don't think the dead spots affected the bounce on the ball...from what I have heard. I know I didn't see any weird bounces from the stands!

You might be right Legaer but I don't know how Williams got that bunch playing defense like they did but with a break or two they could be right in the middle of this thing. Pikeville held SV to 39 and they almost had that at halftime tonight!!

Congrats to Coach Booher. He lost a lot of talent from last years team and still has this team in the region semi-finals. He had his kids ready to play tonight. Now the people up at Valley need to shut up and let the man coach because he has done a great job in his two years there. On the other hand Coach Runyon has his work cut out for him to keep this bunch together for the next two years. Tonight in the first half they all tried to be stars and teams that do that this time of year usually go home early. The "shooting" order for Paintsville needs to be 1st option-Slone, 2nd- Vanhoose, 3rd-Grim, 4th-Pugh, and 5th-Bundy. The entire first half was whoever gets it-shoots it and it killed them. I am really surprised that they couldn't ever get it together this year because if they moved the ball and found the open man they would be impossible to guard.

Good win JBS, I picked you guys to win the 14th all along! Now do it!! Also, great season for Jenkins as well. Coach Johnson did a great job bringing these guys along. They improved all season and will be hard to beat the next couple of years!!

The future at Ashland is always bright! They have a great coach and they always have a lot of good athletes. You might not always like Flynn's style but he has a great program and they always win. It seems like they are always in the finals of the 16th. I wouldn't expect this year to be any different.

I hope you are right about Pikeville making the regional tourney but it will be hard to beat ER at ER again. But your last statement is clueless....Pikeville has won 10 games with a very young team. Their new coach has the program headed in the right direction. It will be a long, long time before the Panthers get in the basement of the 59th again. ER or SV will might fall off fast with all the troubles they have had this year but Pikeville's program will be on solid ground for a while. You can take that to the bank!!

Doesn't look like that big of a win for the Panthers but look again!! They pulled out a huge win on the road without Tim Champlin, Matt Clevenger, and Chip Davis. The radio said they were all 3 at home sick. This sounded like a very impressive win in comeback fashion. Tim Honaker and Chance Robertson had 17 each. Wow....10 wins for Pikeville. No one predicted that!! Nice job Panthers!!! Proud to be a former Panther once again!

Sounds like East Carter ran their defense perfectly also!! 37 points??
