Tubbyball Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 To my knowledge this is the second year in a row a losing team had the M.V.P. (last year Vanhoose from Russell). When is the last time a freshman was M.V.P. of the 16th region (J.Ferguson-Elliott)???
Wireman Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Hey, I called the MVP before the tourney started!

Ms Liberty Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 How can a kid from a team who gave up 30 points win the defensive award? I just don't get it!
Ms Liberty Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 :thumb: The kid from the losing team played a hell of a game all 3 nights.
UKCATSFAN Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Hey, I called the MVP before the tourney started! I'll vouch for that. Well kinda, you said if Elliott won Ferguson would be MVP. But hey, that's closer than anyone else who posted. He is a baller, the kid is going to be a special player.

Goliath Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Also the year before with Adam Howard. Correct, the runner up team has had an MVP player 3 years in a row starting with Adam Howard of Ashland, Jonathan Vanhoose of Russell, and Jonathan Ferguson of Elliott.
TomcatChick41 Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I'll predict that Ferguson is a pre-season top 5 player in the region next year if not the top player. Top 5 is realistic. But I think most everyone will agree that the top two spots will be McDavid and Vanhoose.
oldschoolballer Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Top 5 is realistic. But I think most everyone will agree that the top two spots will be McDavid and Vanhoose. And whoever Boyd County gets from the Ramey home.
oldschoolballer Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I'll predict that Ferguson is a pre-season top 5 player in the region next year if not the top player. Wow!!! Your insight continues to amaze me!!!!:creepy:
TomcatChick41 Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 And whoever Boyd County gets from the Ramey home. You know when I was typing that post I thought the exact same thing. But Im glad you said it and not me.
DEVILPRIDE78 Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Hey, I called the MVP before the tourney started! Agree, Ferguson is a great player and going to get better. But Scott Gill from, RUSSELL 16th Region Champs, should have been the MVP hands down. Take the mule blinders off and get real. :fire: :fire: :fire:
