Who's at the top of your list for next year?

Somebody please hurry and put Paintsville at the top for next season...The Tigers have been the most overrated team in the region the bast 3 years.

 

Two years in with the current team that is suppose to return the program to the "glory days"...0-2 in the 15th Region tournament.

I think the 15th will be very evenly matched. Any team can really make a lot of noise in the 15th this year. But I will list th top 5 teams I think will have the most returning.

3.Johnson Central

4.Belfry

5.Magoffin County

 

But like I said I think the region is wide open...this is just what i think.

I don't think that many has them as the favorites last year or the year before. However, this year was different, but they still have a few more years to improve.

I know I read several times that the current group of sophomores should win at least three regional championships.

I don't believe they'll have time to do that now...

Do any of the teams in the 15th have a good low post player for next year? If they do that would be my pick. I know that Paintsville and JC need to develop someone down low. Paintsville's Williams and Central's Rice were both seniors and I think both teams need to develop a low post threat.

 

That being said,

 

1. Paintsville - Kitties finally grow up to become Tigers.

Bundy, Grimm, Pugh, Slone, and VanHoose all return.

 

2. Johnson Central - Everything but a Low post threat.

 

3. Shelby Valley - Talented youngsters should be enough with leadership from Juniors and Seniors.

 

4&5 - You pick them, I've done typed more than I intended......

IMO...The Tigers have the most talent in the region (that is if everyone returns). However, They are also some of the most selfish players I have ever seen. Unless they find a way to play together and get rid of the me-first attitude they will be another quick out in the regional tournament.

Yup...That's the key. "IF" everyone returns, they have the most talent. If everyone doesn't, the team may be better off though. :sssh:

 

Everyone knows that there is a power struggle on that team because of how selfish they play, especially in big games, where one player is hitting everything, yet another player wants the ball in his hands down the stretch instead of doing what's best for the team. And it all ends the same way, losing.
