I went to watch LCA play tonight with two other adults and 1 child. We paid $26. Unbelievable! It’s no wonder the KBA went under. It’s a summer basketball game people.

They were 19-14 according to KHSAA. Appeared to have played a very tough schedule. Pretty sure they had a D-1 player.

10th win for Bath. Really enjoy them being relevant again.

Wow. Didn’t expect that score. Bath avenged the early loss at Menifee and then some.

Not surprised by the score, just the winner. Great job Bath. First win over Rowan in forever. Bath is no longer a pushover.

Was on 102.9 out of West Liberty tonight.

Best $5 I’ve spent in a long time. One of most exciting games I’ve seen in a while. Great crowd at West Liberty and very loud. Not sure about stats but Prater, Evans for Morgan & Pergrem, Williams for Bath went off.

Bath lost all but 1 starter, but don’t sleep on them.

This high school part of this book has went to the dogs. The only thing I can figure is that the deadline is in the summer and there is no editing allowed.

Has there ever been a football power drop to mediocrity faster than Breathitt County?

I think Alltech arena at the KY Horse Park would be a great choice. KHSAA cheerleading and cross country have already had state championship events there. Also, with the All A looking for a corporate sponsor I wonder if Alltech would come on board. However, I'm not sure if they have a floor for a basketball event.

I thought Taylor did the best he could, under the circumstances. Was it his fault? Not sure! The kids acted like idiots when things didn't go their way. The Hamm kid was a loose cannon, that's a fact, and Alexander too. I thought they beat a well coached Bath team in the district. Then gave Elliott all they wanted in region. Not sure why people think you can turn around a program in 1 year. Good luck to Fleming in finding a successor.

Just thought Pikeville's little guards took too many bad shots in the tall timber. This was my first time watching Battaile, but if he is D1, like they say he is, he needs more than 12 shots per game. Jmo

Pikeville needed to figure out how to give around 15 of the 19 shots that Rhodes & Roberts took to Wyatt Battaile. Kid doesn't touch the ball enough. Has to create every shot he gets. Wasn't impressed with Pikeville, 15th must have been way down.

Nice win by the Lions. Russell/Lewis will be a great game. Bath is really hurting at a bad time. Mitchell out all week with flu. Big boy out will broken foot. Hope Coach Williams can find enough band aids to beat Fleming next week, but it won't be easy. Not much depth I'm afraid.

I'm with Theoldguy on this one, so many high school games have very small crowds and terrible atmospheres. It is great to see the aftermath of an enthusiastic crowd. Sweep it up and hope your students take the same spirit with them to their gym.

Coach Anderson always has good teams, this might be his year to get to Rupp.

Fleming has as much talent as anyone in the region, when they can get them on the floor together. Injuries and attitudes seem to be keeping them from reaching their potential.

Didn't see this one coming, but with the craziness in the 16th, nothing should be that surprising. Glad to see Bath County back to being competitive. They are putting together a really good season.

The list of KY kids that have actually finished 4 years of college basketball at any level seems to be very short, with an even shorter list who have survived at the D1 level.

Was hoping Cameron would stay at Vandy and be a good fit for Coach Drew. Injuries have set him back a little bit.

Good win on the road for Bath. Sounds like it's gonna be a wild year in the 16th. Seems as if there is not a lot of difference in most of the teams in that region.

Lawrence played 4 games this week. That's a tough way to open the season. Appeared to be tired vs Boyd.
