Doesn't look like that big of a win for the Panthers but look again!! They pulled out a huge win on the road without Tim Champlin, Matt Clevenger, and Chip Davis. The radio said they were all 3 at home sick. This sounded like a very impressive win in comeback fashion. Tim Honaker and Chance Robertson had 17 each. Wow....10 wins for Pikeville. No one predicted that!! Nice job Panthers!!! Proud to be a former Panther once again!

I was very surprised when I looked at the Massey Ratings for the 15th Region just now and saw that Pikeville has the No. 1 defense --- the top D in terms of points allowed, anyway. Of course, the 2 and 3 teams were Valley and East Ridge, so that may be the David School factor; however, the 60th District schools aren't getting a similar boost from Piarist.

Because Piarist is a little better than David.

Pikeville though will finally make it back to region because of the up and down year that ER and SV are having.

But never fear they will be basement dwellers again soon

I hope you are right about Pikeville making the regional tourney but it will be hard to beat ER at ER again.

But your last statement is clueless....Pikeville has won 10 games with a very young team. Their new coach has the program headed in the right direction. It will be a long, long time before the Panthers get in the basement of the 59th again. ER or SV will might fall off fast with all the troubles they have had this year but Pikeville's program will be on solid ground for a while. You can take that to the bank!!

Pikeville has overachieved, congrats to Coach Williams...

It’s been a pleasure reading about the success this young team has had throughout the season. Hopefully this is the start of something special for this school, and coach.
