The winning teams fan base is whining about the officials...why would anyone want to officiate? Refs have real jobs and family's they could devote all of their time too from November to March, not have to travel, not pay for all of their uniforms and equipment...or...they can officiate, sacrafice their time with their family, make 50-bucks to cover their expenses and get critized. The number of officials continue to decrease, wonder why...the real loser is the family of officials. If the players don't have refs then they can't play. Play call your own and see how bad it is...or make it take it... How many free throws did Queen, Terry and Faulkner take. (23) that's a nice number of attempts for three people in one game? And the refs kept it close...let's not forget about the 18 turnovers the same three had...

UKCATSFAN, Since you went to the Russell game, could you please respond to Ms. Liberty's question about who the refing crew was. It isn't very often that a refing crew gets complimented in public or at their local meeting.

No offense scooterbob, you are pretty classy, my post should have indicated the fact that it seems like on a large amount of threads that two of the three suggested refs I mentioned always refer to the officiating. However, you are the most likely candidate to keep the other two focused on officiating a solid game, that's why I had you on the crew...thank you for your response, hope this makes things a little more clear. Oh yea, Uncle Jed hoping the game is called evenly comment makes me wonder if he thinks that it would not be and that other games this year have not been. Does this make sense?

The first issue is money, then Blue (Orange, Maroon) Blazer chimes in to say the District Host should be the school with the most tradition and the most banners...boy that sounds fair...let's just play the Regional and State Tournaments there as well.

Before coming to GRC, Coach H. was in one of the toughest districts in the state. Good to see that he is having success and might have a chance to dance.

Personally, the high school game should have the exact rules as college with the exception of the shot clock and that is because the shot clock puts added expense on schools to pay to have them installed and to pay to have someone run it. Think about it, you are preparing high schoolers to play at the next level so why not make the rules the same and the floor the same.

In Ohio, the meeting is with all head coach's and the coach's vote to seed the sectionals and the meeting does not end until everyone is happy.

Nice thoughts redblood, but, in this thread I find "No" compliments from Wireman and I do fined complaints. As far as other threads are concerned...please break everything Wireman has said into two columns, Column A - Complaints and Column B - Compliments...my guess is that Column A will be by far the longest of the two columns.
